I've been having a lot of trouble getting the second verse to sound good. "Going to war, give 'em hell!" **** man, I just cannot get that for the life of me. I've got the rest of the song pretty good though.

It's pretty crazy over there. I haven't posted yet because I'm scared I'll offend someone. Someone said Dave was going to sell the Dime Tribute concert and Dave made a thread talking about how they were wrong and to leave if they think that. I don't want him to personally hate me.

Yeah, that parts a little tricky. Just keep at it though, there's really no secret to that riff.

Yeah, I don't play Holy Wars exactly correct either, because I learned it by ear. Back when I could still tab things out by ear... :upset:

Out of curiosity, do you hammer the 2-5 on E, and hammer/pulloff the 2/3/2 on A during that part? That's what I'm having trouble with. I can't get my A on the E string times right when I go back down the riff on that part. I find I can get it a lot better if I pick it all though.

Oh gosh I just found me doin the Tornado of Souls solo with my jam group...its awful

The rhythm guitarist and drummer are COMPLETELY off, drums too slow so it whacks me up so bad plus I mess it up some anyways.

I can't show the whole thing but if someone wants a good laugh I'll give em a clip.

I think I pick it, though now that I think of it I bet I'd have an easier time using legato. Do whatever's easiest for ya.

It seems like it would be hard to play. I tried it when i was 1st starting and gave up. Maybe i should try again now, i meen it dosent sound impossible, just difficult.

Seriously that's what my band sounds like, everything i come up with the drummer buggers with some out of time drumbeat that he thinks is awesome.
He can't play one single song.

I hate playing with drummers like that. Or when you get together with someone for the first time in awhile and you both just end upp playing random bull[FONT=Arial]s[/FONT]hit for awhile. I get frustrated and am like "Dude, what can you play?" where he beats around the bush instead of telling me "Nothing, I'm worthless." Then tells me "Well, why don't you play something you made up so I can make up a drumbeat for it?" God that's the worst. Some drummers are so frustrating.

hey hey relax on the drummer. If you want him to learn it give him the song(s) and a couple days to learn it. If he dont know the song you cant really blame him for it. That's just as bad as you not having any of your own material for him to put drums to.

I do. He always begs me to come jam with him and every time I go ever there, he hasn't learned anything. I tell him to pick a song and learn a drum part to it since I can play pretty much every Megadeth song's rythm, but he just doesn't practice. It's frustrating.

Well I can see how that can be frustrating, maybe he cant play it or is not really interested to learn it. I've always loved to drum to Megadeth. Everytime I watch rude awakening, I always want to play

Yea, thank goodness the guy playing drums in that recording doesn't play drums for my band...he sings and says he can play drums...but evidence might show otherwise...
