It's a mtv article about Tom, and he explains some stuff and says that the AVA album will come out next spring.

It's nothing really new to me except, I didn't know it was coming out this spring. I can't wait, thanks.

I agree with both of you. This thread is attracting many fanboys and that says there it should be closed. But, the last time it got closed all the fanboys got pissed off and we re-opened with in a few hours because there was about 3 or 4 threads made of people mad that it got closed.

Also, I agree with Rancid and if there are spammers, they should get banned. There has been a lot of Blink talk in the last week or two, which has surprised me. It is happening for now because a bunch of news about AVA and Plus 44 seem to be getting revealed and after a couple of weeks it will be gone. But, I think if a couple of people keep control of the Blink talk then we won't get stupid spammers or keep the talk on topic.

I agree with this what you just said. I think as long as good users such as yourself make sure to report bad posts in the ask the mods thread, this thread should be fine for the time being.

Ya but the problem is their are a lot of spammers and those spammers do talk about Blink sometimes. They just have to have people be reporting bad posts and we need to ban the spammers in here and then it will have just Blink discussion and thats what it is supposed to be.

No this thread should not be closed because there are threads about other bands that have broken up. In addition, if you do close it, there will end up being a minimum of three threads per member of blink and per side-project of blink by my estimate. There will also probably end up being one or two about their upcoming greatest hits album. Then, when these are closed, threads will be made and others hijacked about why they have been closed. Just leave this one open and ban people who can't contribute to the thread or do nothing but say negative things.

Anyways, today was the first time I've listened to S/T in a while and I've been listening to it all day. I can honestly say that I've never really realized just how good it is. I love it, although I still think Dude Ranch is their best.

I mostly just want to do it to get unintelligent members out of here. Especially ones that have the grammar and spelling abilities of an 8 year old.

Yea, that's what I think. I listened to Dude Ranch and Enema of the State today. Man I love those albums.

Dude Ranch is the best pop-punk album of all time...maybe..

You do make fun of his grammer to much...but it also is really bad.

Why dont you just change the thread title to "the official blink/ava/ plus 44 thread", that would be easier and it will keep this thread on track.

Nah, I know for a fact that a lot of people who went to high school in the late 90's and early 00's have or have had Dude Ranch and loved it and listened to it almost everyday. Without Dude Ranch, there would not have been any blink-182 on MTV, no headlining world tours, no awards, and no legions of fans. Even people who don't listen to much blink, but still like punk consider it one of their best (the other mentioned is usually Cheshire) and consider it one of the better examples of 90's punk and pop-punk.

While you are still talking about favourite albums and stuff, I listened to Buddha today and fell in love with 21 Days and Time all over again. Those songs are the standouts on the album.

yeh lately ive been playing along with mark tom and travis show on my bass is great fun :).... reminds me of the blink 182 concert when blink were still together...
