Did you see them in CT? I saw them in MA, and they were great, Willies son and sister were ther e(she looked a bit like cousin it imo). My friend and I got really close to the stage
Yeah I got really close to the stage too, I think most of the people in his band were his family members. Yeah that was a great show I really don't like much country, but I loved all of Willie's numbers. Oh yeah I heard about the reggae album too, wow Willie is the man. |
Yea.
np: Rush - Working Man
Is it any good? That's my favorite Rush song, by the way :) |
Walrus Gumboot: Where do you live in MA?
The CT part of MA  I live close enough to Great Barrington to get gas there, if that helps |
Oh.
Connecticut. Bah, New England's armpit. |
So I have the chance to see Crosby Stills and Nash, but I have heard mixed reviews about how they sound now. One friend said that they suck now, but still, they are an amazing band.
I'd go if I were you. Unless you've seen them before and they've sucked, I'd just go for the experience of seeing these guys. |
Walrus Gumboot: Where do you live in MA?

*She
Beat me to it I like the Shoreline and the NW Hills, and the East, but every time I visit my cousins in Meriden I start to get a little sick Somehow I think Illimatic lives in Worchester |
Is it any good?
Not sure, haven't heard it, haven't read any reviews. |
Is it any good?
mahavishnu orchestra are so freaking awesome. |
I had a friend listin to them and he looks at me takes off the headphones and says "Why do you listin to this crap?". He'd be still in his AC/DC days if it weren't for me.

Um, kill him in his sleep? |
He'd kill me if he had the chance. :-/
It's hard to find truely open minded friends these days. :( |
ive got one. haha. he helped me get into a lot of the music i like but i opened his mind to fusion and a lot of other stuff.
|
I'm very open minded :)
|
My e-friends are open-minded. My real friends, not so much, but to some extent. Then again, I don't consider myself the most open-minded person alive either.
|
My friends are about as narrow-minded as a ruler. They listen to mostly mainstream in all genres. Some might reach out to the extent of The Dead(WHOA).
Me, I am very open-minded. I listen from Metal to Blues to Funk to Jazz. |
my open mindedness only reaches to my musical tastes.
|
I have one friend who loves all types of classic rock, but he doesn't like any of the more obscure things I do or any metal accept Sabbath and a few Metallica songs.
Though he at least listens to things before making an opinion. I tried to turn him onto rap with Jurassic 5, but no luck :( |
My friends are probablly more open minded than others I mean I got ALL of my friends listining to American Beauty and loving it and many others.
|
I don't generally try to force my friends to listen to my music though, because I don't really care. They know what I listen to, if they're ever interested they can tell me. I play my stuff in my car when I drive them, but that's about it.
|
All my friends follow my musical tastes. It's weird I have like a music cult what ever I'm into they quickly follow.
|
Some of my friends can be pretty open minded. A lot of my friends listen to most hard/classic rock, AC/DC, Zeppelin, Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, The Who, stuff like that, so I can listen to most of that. One of my friends, Erin, we always trade music. We both like classic rock, and she gets me into some of the more indie/punk stuff she likes, and I get her into jazz and whatever I like that the time. Another of my friends, Shane, likes more hip-hop, but if I get him to listen to mellow rock like Jack Johnson, he'll like it.
|
I don't care what my friends listen to. I just hate when they start making fun of something after the first note is played.
|
My friends NEVER introduce me to new music. :upset:
