Brian actually just hates fun.
 That must be what it is. Actually, I'm afraid of heights, so most rides don't appeal to me, making amusements parks boring. So, in other news, I've found that I'm really getting into metal lately. I have very little of it though. |

Metal can be good at different times. Do you want some recommendations?
In other news: I'm still working on my review of "The Mother, The Mechanic, and The Path". I've been working on it since the day it came out. I'll blow ya'll away when I finish it. :D |
Ian, you're avatar...:p

It rules, doesn't it, Chels?

So far, I've checked out Necrophagist, In Flames, Opeth, Cannibal Corpse, All That Remains, Nile, Chimaira, Kalmah, Children Of Bodom, probably a few more I'm forgetting. I've had music from some of them for a while (Nile, Opeth, etc), but never been able to get into it. Now I find I really enjoy it, as long as I'm in the right mood for it.
Do you want some recommendations?
Yes, plz. |

Similar though the worst of the three I suppose. Also, you'd probably like Dark Tranquility, Lykathea Aflame, Arch Enemy, Soilwork and Arsis. |
Okay, Mute Print. Here's my rec:
Dimmu Borgir: This is a symphonic black metal band, but don't let the word black scare you away. This is some really catchy stuff because of the orchestration. Cradle of Filth: I have a weak spot for these guys. Goth metal, black metal, eh, whatever you want to call them. The guitar riffs are very simple and about as easy as most pop-punk riffs. The vocalist Dani Filth has quite a unique screaming voice and that's the main reason I like the band. Shadows Fall: These guys just rule. People talk about the 'new wave of american heavy metal', but all those bands are mostly crap, except for this one. The guitar parts are extremely technical and melodic, but can be crushing too. Most people don't like Brian Fair's screaming and I must admit it's not the best, but it's still unique and immediatley identifiable. All That Remains: This is treading into some hardcore/metalcore territory. The vocalist of this band was once the vocalist of Shadows Fall. The riffs here are slightly bland, but combined with the singer/screamer's voice it's enjoyable. Their new material just owns. The singing is a lot better. Cellador: You know these guys so I doubt I need to tell you anymore besides that they own. ;) Opeth: You have to know these guys and if you don't, I suggest you dig them up and put them on. They're in the same genre as Porcupine Tree, but extremely heavy. Fozzy: This band is fronted by Chris "Jericho" Irvine. Yes, the WWE wrestler. But he actually is a talented vocalist. Fozzy's album "All That Remains" has a lot of guest appearances like people from Creed, or Pantera, but they don't use that as a crutch at all. I'll come up with some more in a few for ya. |
I would want to go there, and to Six Flags Magic Mountain in LA.
Yeah, the big rides here rule. I think a guy got decapitated on Runaway Mountain in Cali, it might be that one. The idjit stood up on the ride. :-\ omg it's Dan on an avy! |
Ew Ian likes bad metal for the most part :-\
Dimmu is \m/ though. :-* |
Nice. Thanks a lot, guys. I'll have to work on downloading some stuff tonight.
:D Meanwhile, I think my computer is about to explode from me trying to add all my music to iTunes. :-\ |
Bahhhhh
It'd be best if you just forgave me now. :)
Never, I'll hold a grudge forever >:O Brian: Haha, I hate when it does that...once you get over like 15k songs it hates adding your library :( |
Brian: Haha, I hate when it does that...once you get over like 15k songs it hates adding your library
I'm just starting. I only have 2000 or so songs added, and it already hates me. I had to reinstall iTunes, so now I'm working on getting all my music back on iTunes, and then onto my iPod before school starts back up. |
Ha, it doesn't matter anyway. Adding five sentences a day and expecting the review to end up being several pages long makes things slow going.
|

Nowadays I do that and leave for an hour or so hehe. aw :( it shouldn't have cleaned out your ipod though? |
It rules, doesn't it
Everytime I see it I want to rip my eyes out.. Chels: Magic Mountain is great. I go at least a few times a year :) in other news its 12:40 in the afternoon and I'm just waking up :D |

aw :( it shouldn't have cleaned out your ipod though?
I'm doing it one letter at a time, because I have a couple folders in my music folder that I don't want to add (my mom's and brother's music). Plus, I want to go through, and edit the album titles, genres, etc. to make sure they're all correct. I cleared my iPod, because it was full. I wanted to start over so I make sure to choose the best 60 gigs possible to put on. |
oshi thats pretty retarded.
Haha yeah. I actually laughed at how retarded it was. Oh yeah I had bought a bag of Saltwater Taffy, and I brought it on the batman ride because I didn't want people stealing it, then a quarter of the way up the first hill, the thing stopped and a lady came up to me and told me I couldn't have it with me. :-\ I had had it with me the whole time during the seat check too. I only have room for ~2.5 Gigs on my iPod. :-\ |
Eliminator JR. was hacked and made spam threads in the pit.
I doubt he was hacked, Chels... |

I'm pretty indiscriminate as to what's actually in my itunes. I am just picky about what I listen to. Ooooo, I am in so dire need of doing that...but there's so much to do :( oic. I need to do that too as I finally passed 60 gigs of music :-\ |
Ooooo, I am in so dire need of doing that...but there's so much to do
I'm finding it really hard, because I don't know genres for some bands, and no matter how hard I try, I always seem to miss mistakes in band names and album titles. Not to mention, their isn't enough time in a day to go through all the music I have. |
lmao thats funny.
Which iPod do you have?
One of the women riding beside us was "It's your fault!" I have the 20 gig photo. The screen is so scratched up. :-\ |
ELIMINATOR WASN'T HACKED: To quote the horses mouth: "I don't care if I am banned, my life is pretty miserable so I don't care".
|
I only have 12 gigs of music on my computer. 31 gigs stored on my music service. I couldn't imagine having 60 gigs....
