Their best album is Reality Choke, definitely.

Just get San Jose Oldies, I'm pretty sure that's most of their stuff on one album.
Thanks men, I dld Reality Choke and also Indecision's Unorthodox. Listened to em both driving in to work. Both slay.

Does anyone like Breach?

boundbytransience 09-04-2009 07:22 PM

Reality Choke is an awesome album.

And Justin, Indecision is good. I guess I wrote off NYHC after trying to get into Madball and Sick Of It All. Once I found out I couldn't even get into the beloved Cro-Mags, I just kinda called it quits.

808 09-04-2009 07:38 PM

I like the So Cal accent.

What aboot Kill Ur Idols... they don't really have the NYHC sound but they're from New York, so they kinda count, rite?

iamtherobots 09-04-2009 08:15 PM
go to baltimore

for example they would say it "balteemoar" if that makes sense its so annoying. not as outright as ny or boston but ugh
lol what?

RetiredAt21 09-05-2009 09:23 AM

I didn't get that either, lol.

NOTindietrash 09-05-2009 09:54 AM

I think Nirvana, Hüsker Dü, Sex Pistols and Mineral were my introduction bands to punk.

Iluvatar 09-05-2009 09:58 AM

fugazi, hot water music and EARTH CRISIS.

one of these things is not like the others

RetiredAt21 09-05-2009 10:07 AM

a firestorm to purifyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

boundbytransience 09-05-2009 11:09 AM

I wish I got into Fugazi much earlier.
I was bumping NOFX and Bad Religion instead :(

cobert 09-05-2009 12:54 PM

I'm not sure what band got me into hardcore, maybe American Nightmare. I listened to a ton of post-hardcore and **** but I think We're Down 'Til We're Underground was the first hardcore album I got into. It's still one of my favorite albums.

IgniteYourAvail 09-05-2009 01:09 PM

Rise Against got me into hardcore, I think. No shame, they still rule.

flesh 09-05-2009 01:14 PM

eighteen visions

McP3000 09-05-2009 01:16 PM

Relationship of command was basically my intro to the post-hxc/hxc punk scene, and i still love it even though its magic has waned a little

TimJim 09-05-2009 02:14 PM

suicide machines was mine. saw them when i went to see MxPx and Relient K

boundbytransience 09-05-2009 02:30 PM

Haha, nice. I remember seeing MXPX when I was in 8th grade. I thought I was legitimately punk at that point.

Suicide Machines kick ***, for the record.

flesh 09-05-2009 02:36 PM

Are you running away from me?

Are you running away from you?

boundbytransience 09-05-2009 02:48 PM

Deep lyrics bro.

pixiesfanyo 09-05-2009 02:48 PM

Fugazi or Minor Threat. i'm typical.

NOTindietrash 09-05-2009 03:02 PM

Minor Threat were one of my first hardcore bands, but they weren't my introduction at all.
