You sound just like one of my friends. He plays pretty dirty though.
Yeah, I remember some kid was being a dick all game, so when he got tackled and he was between me and the ball, I ran over him, bringing both boots down on his arm when he was on the ground...awesome.

Now that is something he'd do, "accidentally" stepping on them and punching them when the ref isn't looking.
I always took great pleasure in finding the cocky little skinny fast bastards and fucking flattening them.

I always got really nasty when playing rugby.
Ah, you were the bastard that guys like me (the skinny, fast ones) used to hate - I remember getting absolutely levelled by a prop forward once - I thought I was clear through, running like hell, took a quick look behind me to see if I could ease up a bit, and the next thing I know, I'm laid on my back at the bottom of a pile of fat bastards.

How the hell do you sneak up on someone when you're 18 stone and six feet six tall?!

Patrick O))) 06-22-2006 10:35 AM

With STEEL!!!

Yeah, pretty much, but I was a second row, so I'm more lanky than fat:p

Ah man, that's the best feeling in the world, getting paid more than you were expecting. I had that last month - I'd done a few overtime shifts, and forgotten about them, so I was expecting about £980 and got £1100. That was a gooooood night out that weekend. :)

EDIT:

Second rows are a winger's worst nightmare - not only are they big enough to crush you without even knowing about it, they can usually run like hell as well. I used to go for the element of surprise when running up against second rows - fake a sidestep or something, and then charge into them as hard as possible while they're off balance... it actually worked quite a bit, although it was always payback time when it didn't come off. >_<

Sweet.

I usualy expect to get more then i do, and get upset, but i swear i have done 2 shifts over time, and im sure that dosnt equal an extra £50 then usual, but its cool

Yeah, We used to do this exercise in training where you'd mark out a square, and go one on one, one with the ball, and one tackling. I used to be able to beat much smaller and faster players than me, because they haven't got the time and momentum that they need to get up speed, wheras I had my height and wieght advantage added to a bit of speed, too.

Nightvision 06-22-2006 10:55 AM

Haha, I hated training, as like you said, there's not really enough space for the smaller guys to get any good speed up, and we'd end up coming away looking like we'd just gone 80 minutes against a team consisting of 15 guys the size of Andrew Sheridan. :-/

Hey Guys.
 d'you think? I'm not sure it's quite what I hear in my head ...
Well i'm not sure what's in your head, but yeah it does, or atleast what i imagine it too be, it was a bit quite (might just be my comp), but it seemed like a good balance between pantera and kyuss, but depends on where the rest of the band/drums/vocs take it. I like it anyway, and the tone seemed pretty cool, especially since it was recorded on a mp3 player.
