I've had my Sony Psyche for 2 years now and it still works great. I've put about 2 hours on that thing for every day for the past 2 years. How's that for a CD player!
pretty good. but i have 7500 songs on my ipod without having to switch cds. and i listen to it for about 5 hours everyday. its been working fine for about 6 months. haha. which is no 2 years, but its better than what i averaged with cd players.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 07-28-2005 12:50 PM

Shrooms are free for me. The only thing I have to do is get on a bike and ride one mile to a feild. :D

I really need a jod though. :upset:

Woodstock 07-28-2005 12:52 PM

I'm saving for an Ipod 20 gig.

Badmoon 07-28-2005 12:55 PM
Why spend 230$ on a device that lets you play music when you have over 200+ Cds and great portible CD player?
Something like an Ipod is extremely better then having to carry around CD's and a CD player.

Walrus Gumboot 07-28-2005 01:03 PM

Gahh, i have about 1000 songs on my media Player (3.38G)

So is it go for the 230$ with 24hrs battery, 20G and a shuffle feature or the 200$ one with the 14hr life, 40G and no shuffle

/confused
/has about 20 min to decide

CockeyedMaverik 07-28-2005 01:12 PM

Schyma could u send me jake holmes dazed and confused? aim = debatableacumen or email stingrmohaa@aol.com

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 07-28-2005 01:14 PM

^Ahhh....sure.

Get the 2nd one. I'd rather have more music and less battery life than more battery life and half the music. Who cares about a shuffle feature?

Me, I got the 1st one

Do you have shrooms just growing natuarally in a feild by your house, or did you plant them there?

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 07-28-2005 01:30 PM

Plant? No, they're just growing in cow **** waiting to be picked. :D

BludgeonySteve 07-28-2005 01:39 PM

pfft, mp3 players... I have a cd case and portable cd player. Anything else doesn't feel right.

Walrus Gumboot 07-28-2005 02:06 PM

I wish I had drugs growing here, maybe it can be arranged since I live a few yards from a huge state forest

Yeap. Allready done.

Now all I have to do is wait until my birthday and hope my computer doesn't crash before then

Seafroggys 07-28-2005 02:51 PM

CDs just plain sound better too, on a good set of speakers or headphones you can easily tell the difference.

Most kids these days, however, don't have very good headphones or can't afford good speakers, or don't have any sort of good ears at all, so they prefer the mp3s.

I always blow the bass out of mine within hours, so I avoid investing in nice ones

You probablly do. Do you have any feilds where cows live?

How? I've had my computer speakers for a year and a half, and my subwoofer still packs, and I play music loud at times (I have a 5.1 rig too, not just stereo).

Talos 07-28-2005 03:53 PM
but is it just my imagination, or is classic rock experiencing sort of a revival.
Yeah, IMO back in the 70s, 80s & 90s it was the time were all the talented musicians were around. I play an instrument so i think the old stuff with good musicians is inspiring. Dont get me wrong i like new stuff but you know ?

BludgeonySteve 07-28-2005 04:00 PM

Yep, rock has lost quaility yep yep yep. We finished that conversation a year ago. We just talk about classic rock now.

Walrus Gumboot 07-28-2005 04:00 PM

I have a horse feild right across the road, and various cow fields throughout the area. Rural to say the least, but sometimes very cold

Headphones, not speakers, the speakers always hold up fine

Well he was mainly talking about classic rock. Which definitely didn't take place in the 90's, and even the 80's is highly questionable. He was talking about the sixties and seventies mostly.

I love how we talk about B0nz0 as if he were dead

BludgeonySteve 07-28-2005 04:09 PM

he's ded 2 m3...

Well he doesn't post anymore. As soon as he posts again he's alive to me.

thickasabrick 07-28-2005 04:34 PM

He comes around every once in a while. I'm not even really sure who a lot of people are anymore who post here, because of all the name changes. B0nz0 shows up about as often as Disconnection Notice and Slowhand (unless they had name changes and I don't notice them).

So I might have said this already, but since my car doesn't have a CD player I bought some casette tapes. I must say that they are very very handy things. I like them because you can't skip songs, that way you don't have to put up with those annoying people who are constantly switching between songs on a CD. I like listening to albums front to back that's why I think vinyl and casettes are best, you can't really switch songs (although it's not very hard for vinyl).

robo2448 07-28-2005 04:40 PM

I don't think I've ever seen B0nz0 on since I joined.

I've got one of those and they are pretty handy. Mine ran out of batteries though and I'm too lazy to change them.

If you ever want shrooms go to one of those feilds.

You all have cars? Me having a car would be only a faint dream.

I have a '95 Volvo that my Dad (a Subaru dealer) decided would be cheap enough to give me until I can buy my own (we needed a new plate on one for me to learn on because you can't drive a dealer plate until you are 21 :upset: )

robo2448 07-28-2005 05:22 PM

I wish I had a car. I can't afford one and my parents won't buy me one, so I'm trying to persuade them to trade the minivan in for a cool car. I don't want to be stuck in a minivan. I live in a town where most of the population is disgustingly rich. I mean, kids my age get cars as soon as they pass there road test. New, nice cars too. One kid just got a brand new Mercedes SUV.

Stupid filthy rich kids.
