i'm off to a big physics conference in arlington in just a few hours.

there's going to be a lot of partying, dancing and drinking going on in between the three days of events. the group i'm going with is full of a bunch of crazy *** good time having folks. it should be pretty badass.

Win A Rabbit 10-05-2006 12:40 PM

Oh my god. I just saw my grade 12 yearbook last night, and it's got the picture of me grabbing my junk on the very first page. Top right corner, out of nowhere.

They took probably 10 pictures, and I swear they used the only one that I was half-paying attention for. I had a full pose that I held for atleast 10 minutes, but of course they didn't use that one.

Corkofski 10-05-2006 12:42 PM

arab= jesus costume with a headscarf

That's for sure. Reinert's on that one right?

Janeway 10-05-2006 02:32 PM

School was easier than I expected.

Tomorrow I get to do nothing at all. Hoorah.

Edit: Okay. Diapragm vibrato sucks.

I can't do it.

Berk 10-05-2006 04:40 PM

ERG. I'm to bored.

And I got My Herione down like shuggah.

Janeway 10-05-2006 04:46 PM

Hockey season.

Great.

I hate the Sabres new uniforms. The really old blue and yellow ones were cool.

Yeah, on both acoustic and V-drums.
Bill Bruford does some 'slit-drum', whatever that is.

Didnt he also play "The Brook, The ocean" Drum solo?

We_Love_Lime 10-05-2006 05:05 PM

Our homecoming game is tonight.

I find it rather miraculous that people are going to the Homecoming game, purely for the sake that it is the Homecoming Game.

There is no special thing about the Homecoming Game.
It;s like any other game, and I doubt that there will be a Homecoming Game After Party because it is a weekday.

So I don't get what the whole point is.

The Human Race is an interesting thing, and I'm going to devote the rest of my life understanding it.

NCDrummer 10-05-2006 05:09 PM

i'm going as Joey

Wow.

Sunshine 10-05-2006 05:52 PM

I have no idea of what I'm going to be for Halloween.

But I have to be something, we're trick-or-treating this year, most definintly.

And no, I'm not too old to dress up as something and get a pillowcase full of free candy.

Stickman Sam 10-05-2006 05:52 PM

Wow, I just played two gigs, and found two cymbals I really love: B8 thin crash and an Istanbul splash. The logo on the splash was somewhat worn so I couldn't tell the line, but I'm going to ask the owner what it is exactly when I see him, because it was probably the single sweetest cymbal I've ever played. Also, I played with a Sabian Pro-Sonics ride and found it highly enjoyable.

Corkofski 10-05-2006 05:56 PM

that guy usually / has played a lot acoustic.

he muted the snare with his hand.

other than that, thats fast. if hes making a DVD, he needs to slow down a bit. i wouldnt want to buy a dvd where there was no chance in me playing that fast for ages. some showing off is good, but not as an example.

Aaron 10-05-2006 05:57 PM

yo!

Sarcastic wow at all? That's bread-and-butter, basic double kick stuff.

I don't know what to be either :(. And my friends suck just as much as I do at helping me decide. The only suggestions I've gotten so far were nudist, and robot. Actually a robot would be kind of cool if it didnt take so much effort to put together a costume.

I won't be trick or treating this year unless I take my little brother again. I'm just dressing up for school, and for a friend's halloween party.

He's heaps right-hand dominant. Needs to work on his left.

Drum Phil 10-05-2006 06:28 PM

I was on stage with spunge.

Go as a gorilla. No one expects a chick to dress as a gorilla.

Win A Rabbit 10-05-2006 06:40 PM

I'm not much for dressing up, but it seems all my friends are.

I may have to settle for a $2 werewolf mask that blends right in with my beard. But I hate masks. Or I'll wear some of my dad's old clothes.

Quinto 10-05-2006 06:41 PM

music thoery is so confusing, i have a test tommorow. im one of the 2 freshman in the class, its like a class of 30.

**** yeah im going trick or treating, 14 definetly is too old, im also egging, and tping, never done it before.

Berk 10-05-2006 06:47 PM

No school tomarrow. I was going to spend it with my Mate/girlfriend. But both of them are going away for thanks giving. So it's either I learn new songs or crash the mall with my Guitarist.
CHOICES!

Win A Rabbit 10-05-2006 06:48 PM

 We went last year, at 17. We only did one block, though. Then egged a couple pre-determined houses.

This year, I think it's just egging. Maybe not even egging, nobody's really done anything to us in the last year to warrant egging.
