I've had 9 lessons so far.
Here it's normal to take between 30 and 40 lessons (of an hour)

I'm doing pretty good at it.
My driving teacher is a cool guy, so that makes it a lot easier too.

Are you going to drive automat, or shift yourself?

drive automat? no... i will shift it myself; :)
well 9 lessons is the minimum you can take and i think i will fail at the practical exam after just 9 lessons (1,5hours long i think)
most make about 12 lessons, but they recommend 18 lessons -> so thats about 30h

@Peter: i agree, yes... but first of all i need the get the driving license, finishing my studies, get a job, money, new flat, ... and then i will get a car :)
so in 3 years i should have my own car, but till then it shouldn't be a problem to get the car by my parents.
