I'm telling mommy cheeser if you don't stop!
children, no fighting or i'm not making pancakes for dinner tonight! i know how much you kids like your pancakes. |
I've been a good boy. Give me a pancake!
I don't like pancakes. I like waffles.
The Official Really Guilty Pleasure Song of the Day is...
"Bedroom Talk" by the Starting Line. If more power-pop bands had a chorus including the words "I'm gonna tear your ass up like we just got married", or something remotely like that, the world would be a better place. |
I don't like pancakes. I like waffles.
Ditto. Waffles make the world go 'round. The only time I like pancakes is if my mom makes 'em. Denny's pancakes are so thick and gummy. This points out the pathetic fact that the only time I eat pancakes is if my friends and I are at Denny's, or if I'm eating breakfast at my mother's house. Or is that not pathetic? My pain medicine is muddying my thoughts. |
Bluberry pancakes are the best. But a big, thick, piece of french toast is my favorite breakfast.

 I've heard TSL were great, I just didn't believe it. |
I wouldn't consider Nerf Herder a guilty pleasure, they're pretty awesome. "Courtney" is a pop-punk classic.
The Starting Line, on the other hand...I shame myself. No, not really. The older I get, the less I care. The new Starting Line cd sounds like a Get Up Kids album, and I love the 'Kids, so it's all good. |
I listen to the Starting Line occassionally. That's one of my guilty pleasure bands.
The Buffy theme tune is awesome.
I listen to the Starting Line occassionally. That's one of my guilty pleasure bands.
Right on. Fall Out Boy, on the other hand...there's one I'm actually ashamed of, if only because of the amount of moronic fat teenage girls wearing black clothes that like them. |
I think I've heard one song from FOB and I hated it mainly because of the vocals, but I'm not sure.
Right on.
Fall Out Boy, on the other hand...there's one I'm actually ashamed of, if only because of the amount of moronic fat teenage girls wearing black clothes that like them.
Fall Out Boy is soooo good. Also, the Movielife and New Found Glory are better than most bands. |
Everyone in Chicago likes them. It is dreadful.
They're pretty cheesy pop-punk, but, hell, it's the summertime, I get to kiss girls and go swimming, and cheesy pop-punk is just what the doctor ordered.
I heard them at Warped Tour while waiting on Dropkick Murphys.
Fall Out Boy is soooo good.

My guilty pleasure bands include those pesky new-wave revival bands, like the Killers and the Bravery. Also, whenever that MCR song, Helena er whatever, goes on the tv, I usually leave the channel, cause the drums in that song are great, nothing special, I just really liek the drumming in that song. I couldn;t stand the rest of their album though. and Fallout Boy are meh.
I love Blink 182. You could call them a guilty pleasure but I don't feel guilty.
I like some Blink songs but...meh.
I love Blink 182. You could call them a guilty pleasure but I don't feel guilty.
I usually define a "guilty pleasure" as a band that I should feel guilty about liking, but don't. And to J: Speaking of MCR, there are some songs on their new cd that are really sweet, like "You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in Prison" (which has an amazing intro) and "Hang 'Em High" which, incidentally, features Keith Morris. |
So Blink 182 is a guilty pleasure. But I still love them .
MCR isn't that bad, but they aren't that good either. |
They are pfff...
Alkaline Trio is where it's at.
Old Alkaline Trio is where it's at. Crimson and Good Mourning both sucked.
So Blink 182 is a guilty pleasure. But I still love them .
MCR isn't that bad, but they aren't that good either.
The Blink 182 one sure. They aren't that bad. But the MCR one dude... C'mon Sean! :upset: |
Well they aren't that good. I've really only heard one of their songs on the radio and I was like, "hmm, this sounds like Fall Out Boy but with less crap."
I like Good Mourning but I haven't listened to Crimson yet. It's just that old A3 is better than Good Mourning.
From Here To Infirmary is great. Good Mourning is cool too.
I'd have to go with Ash...
Speaking of new albums, is it just me or is the new Against Me! album going to be The Shit?
And how about the new Transplants album? It's at least six times better than the original. Three cheers for punk-hop. |
Punk-Hop ahahha, i heard their new album sucks, guess not.
If we're talking new albums then Propagandhi and Good Clean Fun are the ones I'm looking forward to the most.
I hate Propagandhi, so meh.
But yeah, I really really dig the new Transplants album. It's best approached with an open mind, but they really stretch their wings and suck dramatically less. Skinhead Rob is still really annoying, but whatev. |
Who is Skinhead Rob, what a stupid name.
I'm looking forward to the new GCF and Propagandhi as well as the new AM! And now the new Real McKenzies album.
I hate Propagandhi, so meh.

I never listened to Propahandhi, if any one wanna YSI?
I'm looking forward to the new GC.
The truth is exposed. I dunno, I just really really dislike Propagandhi. Actually, I like Today's Empires quite a bit, but everything else I've heard from them just sucks. They seem like pretty intolerant douchebags, intelligent or not. |
