2 suggestions for a video

1. Calmly climb ontop of your guitar and begin riding it
2. Film yourself in the mirror complete with "Are you talkin' to me?" ...but said in a Geordie accent

Dead Star 12-12-2006 02:20 PM

I just finished watching Jackass Number Two.

There was many lulz.

I was buckled at the bit with the pink pink inflatable thing in the doorbell.

And the Boxing glove in the wall.

I'm gonna film the 2nd one either.
What exactly do you have to do? just a 10 second film?

What course are you on, i thought you did like Music tech or something.
Yeah, but it's made up of different units that cross over into other subjects as well. This year is basically to get everyone all up to the same level for the next 2 years.

I do;

Audio Principles (Which is hard as fuck and makes me regret not taking Physics and Maths in A-levels)
Data, Networks And The Web
Organisation systems
Creative Technologies (What this 10 second film is for)
Computer platforms

And yeah, it's just a 10 second film. We have to just film it and edit it, but it's strictly 10 seconds.

Ohhhh sounds cool

AG 12-12-2006 03:24 PM

Man I have just made the best drink ever

Honest to god.

1/2oz Extra Dry Martini rolled around a cold glass and the excess poured away, then:

3oz Bombay Saphhire Gin
1/2oz Lá Fe Absinthé
1/2oz Cointreau

Shaken with ice then strained into a glass. Layer another 1/2oz Cointreau over the mix then add twists of lemon or orange to taste.

But its being played up here

Kif 12-12-2006 04:28 PM

Haha, so we just had like an hour long power cut. Literally every light on our block went out, and I looked out the window and everyone was just waving torches around and stuff, and I spent it watching Jackass Number Two on my laptop :D

Untitled 12-12-2006 04:30 PM

Ive never been in a power cut, i want to be though, lol.

Im watching unnamed white man, or whatever that show on C4 is called.

Its pretty interesting, but after 1hour 15minutes i got bored, i think its on for 2 hours, which is a bit to draged out for me tbh, but its wierd seeing how he copes and stuff

AG 12-12-2006 04:40 PM
The concert was great but WAY too much guitar for me. Four and a half hours of shred guitar and only 45 minutes of Mike left me feeling a little 'over-it' by the end. Thanks to Mikes VIP tickets, I also got meet Steve Vai, but by the time the show was over, Mike was back on a plane flying home to continue with the new DT album, which he tells me is 'heavy' so far (yippee!)
This message is too short, blah blah blah...

Untitled 12-13-2006 02:03 PM

I did glass blowing/moulding today. It was fun.

I didnt get to blow the glass, but i did make a really long ice icicle type thing out of molton glass, it was fun, but the furnace burns at 750 degrees C, and stood right next to it, means you get burnt, luckily i didn't to bad, a slight redness on my arms, nothing major/ you can see without me pointing it out.

trysthedrummer 12-13-2006 02:09 PM

Can you blow even more so the hot glass goes everywhere like in peoples faces and stuff

Untitled 12-13-2006 02:16 PM
Can you blow even more so the hot glass goes everywhere like in peoples faces and stuff
Nah, if you blow it too much it just collapses.

Lol, the technician was saying "never break solid glass towards your face, itll splinter and may go in your eye" so then he demonstrated, but as he was stood infront of us, he ended up snaping it into some lasses face, poor sod.

trysthedrummer 12-13-2006 02:21 PM

Aye I was just being silly.

Why would you even want to demonstrate breaking solid glass towards your face.
