today my band is getting together to try to agree on subject matter and stuff for our songs' lyrics and what of the old stuff to keep and what to write new stuff for and this and that and basically who wants to place bets on if we're still together as a band by the end of it

a drummer is coming over to my place after work tonight. Hopefully, he isnt an off-beat whitey.

Apparently, if you recommend a metronome to a drummer, they instantly get defensive. I guess me asking

"hey, have you ever thought about using a metronome in your practice routine?"

translates to ---> "Whitey, you are off beat as FUK"

I like to use euphamisms :lol:

i love it when guitarists talk about how off time drummers are when i have never met a guitarist who has better time keeping than any of the even half decent drummers i know

im not talking about them, as a person. Im talking them, as in their profession you see. I can still admire the hard work, yet not really take their opinion any higher than i would anyone else's

It costs a lot to run your own clinic I'm sure.

And if you work in a hospital a lot goes to maintaining that.

yea, its the health care system + insurance that really drives the price up. A ton of doctors left PA because of this fact
