It means that while the rest of us have to work for things, you're going to be left clueless because you've spent a decade sheltered with no expenses or actual commitments. You're totally secluded from reality. You're living like you're 16. It's not that having bills or debts is a ton of fun, because it sucks, but that's life. The difference is most of us will have experienced it years from now. All you're doing is putting your life on pause.

The guitarists in my current band aren't cocky at all, actually. Everyone in this is just down to earth and likes to get fucked up and play metal lol.
