both statements are surprising to me :p

edit: and i just re-listened to The Adversary today and realized how crappy it is. Ihsahn tries to be King Diamond too much. (and sometimes Thomas Gabriel Fischer). His guitar tone is really bad too. there are some good riffs and i still think the solos are good but final verdict= deleted.
But i'll still always love the old Emperor stuff.
