I love all the other Paiste hats (Minus the rudes...blech) but there is just something about 'em I dislike.

haha i like some rudes, the chinas are pretty sweet, and the thin crashes are okay, but the crash/rides are kind...bad

I only like Rude chinas. Even those aren't that good.

I love basically all Byzance hats, but no stores around here sell them and the only place I know with clips is the site, so.

Ive got a 14 inch A fast crash, and a 16 inch A medium thin crash, I was looking for a bigger crash to add on. I was leaning to sabian for some reason, but anything works. I want something versitle, I play mostly rock, but sometimes I have to do some metal, and Ive been picking up some jazz. Im not too sure what exact sound I want. Any suggestions?

I would go with something around 18", yea 14" crashes can be awkward.
Sabian has a lot of good crashes, look into AA medium/med thin, AAX stage, AAXplosion, vaults if you want but im not tooo too fond of those.

Go into a store and hit everything they have.

Istanbul Trad.Funk hats would be the best, Sabian HHX Groove hats 14 or 15'' would get the job done, so would some Zildjian Quick Beats

yea, man, 14'' crashes can be weird, but i'm gettin' a 14'' A Custom Fast Crash and usin' it as a kinda big splash, because it just sounds better than any A Custom splash, but it cuts really well

Sabian 22" AAX Metal Ride- more wash
Sabian 21" AA Rock Ride- more wash again

All very pingy cymbals, but go for the earth if you want a really dry cymbal, the metal if you want something a little more washy, etc.
