i can also afford ozzfest day at download, but its too far to travel. i'll wait and see them some other time, or just wait till ozzy's doing a solo tour.
yea so is mudvayne.................
Mudvanye is a great, and underrated band.

magicbus 04-13-2005 08:09 PM

Can you guys tell me who sings on Planet Caravan? I thought I'd ask here first.

pigonthewing82 04-13-2005 08:26 PM
I think ozzy should put out one more album come play at newcastle, then call it a day. :thumb:
I wouldn't mind it if he continued work with Sabbath though.

Ozzy Osbourne.

ATM 04-13-2005 08:51 PM

So I downloaded a song called Black Sabbath - Ultra Rare Ozzy Song, and I can't figure out who is singing. It sounds a little like Ozzy, but I don't think it is him.

magicbus 04-13-2005 08:54 PM
Ozzy Osbourne.
Oh, it didn't sound like him. I thought it might be another member of the band for one song.

ToRidTheDisease 04-13-2005 08:58 PM
Oh, it didn't sound like him. I thought it might be another member of the band for one song.
Yeah, he sounds a bit different. Probably due to the trippy way the song is.

Is it Electric Sleep/Electric Sheep?

Its not Black Sabbath that did the song, just a band with a singer who sounds ALOT like Ozzy.

shadow_stalker 04-14-2005 09:51 AM

There was a thing about that on black-sabbath.com a while ago.

Apparently loads of people kept e-mailing joe seigler about it asking if it was really sabbath because they couldnt find it on any sabbath track list.

ATM 04-14-2005 02:17 PM

It must be. They don't list an actual title on it, it just says Ultra Rare.

cliff solos for all 04-14-2005 03:12 PM

do black sabbath have any other bass solos except n.i.b

Josh 04-14-2005 03:16 PM

NIB itself isn't really a bass solo in its own right, it has a bass solo as the introduction to the song. and no, i can't think of any other bass solos.

rising_fury 04-14-2005 05:13 PM

i picked up Sabbath's self titled yesterday on vinyl, automatically making me better then most people on the planet.

Actually the start of NIB is a bass solo because it was a different song (i think it was called 'basically' or something), but the two songs became one over time.

So your both right...kind of

Josh 04-15-2005 03:33 AM

i don't have any vinyls :( don't have a record table either though, i'd have to go to my gran's to play vinyls

rippa32 04-15-2005 04:57 AM

I have one set up next to the computer. So I can listen to my dads beatles records whilst on the net.

shadow_stalker 04-15-2005 05:32 AM

I could really do with a one, my dad has loads of old vinals by some good bands but i dont have anything to play them on.

shadow_stalker 04-15-2005 05:33 AM
I like 'War Pigs' a lot. The more I've listened to Black Sabbath lately, I've noticed that they sound a lot like Led Zeppelin. Has anyone ever noticed that or am I crazy?

Monti
Yeah they do sound like Zeppelin at times. But sometimes they sound nothing alike.
