Okay wait so I use fabric paint on a roller to make shirts, not spray paint right?

DaveToopes 11-08-2005 06:11 PM

Spray paint works, but rollers usually make cleaner lines.
So then why don't you suggest Shoe Goo to everyone?
is there any other types of pain you can use on fabrics because they are £1.50 a pot here and it will cost alot to use the amount of colours i want to use

You could mix acrylic with fabric medium. That's what I do and it works really well. It's not that expensive either and it goes a long way.

I shall have my dinosaur comics shirt uploaded either today or tomorrow. I'm so excited, I really hope it turns out. Espcially since it's a gift.

Not sure, to be honest I havn't looked yet. I need to focus on getting the colors I want for them first I think.

And I'm pretty sure TSOL is going to find their way on there as well.

there was that one in Ohio a few weeks ago, and now this one that he's going to... That's more nazi rallies than I've heard about in a while.

Advice: aim higher in life than that.

RudeBoyStompin 11-10-2005 10:04 PM

I made a stencil from the movie Eraserhead tonight for a shirt. I can't wait to put it on. I think I'm going to go out and get some spray adhesive though.

Vietnow 11-10-2005 10:18 PM

So I have a bunch of stencils and I spray paint them all around town. After awhile the construction paper gets really thin, where the spray-paint goes. Is there some way I can coat the stencil so it doesn't get all easy to tear? Is there a plastic thing I can put through my printer to make a stencil on?

Anarcho Poser 11-10-2005 10:22 PM

transparency paper.

time bomb 11-10-2005 10:57 PM

could you use the same paper as you use now, but laminate it? or print onto overhead-projector sheets instead (cheap from newsagents etc)

You make stencils out of construction paper? I would think the paint would bleed through. Does it work well?

It actually works very good, but the paint does seem to kill the paper after awhile. But I have used them ALOT. The first Crass one I made is still useable, it's just extreamly delicate. Also, you need a very sharp exacto knife or the paper will tear. What do you print your stencils onto?

Ah great Suggestions. I'm going to try and get that overhead paper.

mole 11-11-2005 09:43 PM

ok, i made a conclusion that paint PENS work a lot better that the solid fabric paint.
