Excursions: I resent being called a post whore

Vince: my only suggestion would be, aside from the love mumbo-jumbo (wtf is that, anyway :p), is to talk about how life is going away from her. Bitch about school, talk about your classes, talk about how life is going for you, and then probably incorporate about how you miss her or something lame like that (:p again).

You could write something so awful like "I could dominate the world with just one hand, but it would be better if you were by my side holding my other one." Or something extremely cheesy like that, heh.

billiejoe84 09-10-2005 08:55 PM

Ah, I love being cheesy with women. Never works for me though. I tend to take the subtly romantic approach instead.

Right, I'm off to bed now, guys. It appears to be nearly 4am, and while I don't have work until 4pm tomorrow, I wanna take advantage of this chance for a nice long sleep. I've been getting about 5-6 hours a night for the last month and it's been pretty tiring.

Permanent Solution 09-10-2005 09:01 PM
Well, yeah, that was my point... If I can waste two hours worth of text messages on how to trap an insect in a pint glass, something must be a bit wierd.

However, it's good if you can talk to someone that much... shows that there's a connection there, I suppose. Beats sitting in silence not knowing what to say, I guess (which I have had before with lady friends - awkward silences are one of my least favourite things in the world).
Nah, it's a good sign. If you can talk about that for that long, you can probably discuss mre important things even longer.

We talk a whole lot, so it's real important. I hate silence too haha. A lot.

Yeah, that sounds good, I just have to find things to mention I don't talk about in all our other conversations heh, that's harder. It's a good place to start though. I think I incorporate the missing her thing like every 5 lines though :p

That is a great line sir. I'm almost tempted to steal it, but I can come up with my own cheesy lines, even if they are crappier than that :)

Jom 09-10-2005 09:04 PM

Man, I could write a book on crappy pick-up lines I've heard or have come up with when I have a ton of spare time. It would come with a DVD, entitled "How to Gracefully Handle Getting Bitchslapped And Keep Your Dignity."

I've only seen a few people manage that trick. I wish I knew how to do it. The real confident guys who date every girl at school have it down pat though.

Jom 09-10-2005 09:09 PM

Fortunately, I've never had to worry about things like that at all, as my stories are well-documented on MX :p

NP: Living Sacrifice - "My Tourniquet"

It's a good thing, too.

One forum was bad enough, even though Riva's "modification" of the original story was pretty hilarious.

No no, I think the people here would totally enjoy it. They're all 14 and inexperienced too, it's ok :p

Yes, it certainly was.

How are the sports?

it just kinda crashed... to be honest i have no clue whats wrong with it

the sports are coming along pretty dahm swell... we won our first game yesterday :D but i have trouble moving about cause i messed up my achilles tendons... yes both of them *cries*

chips88 09-10-2005 09:22 PM

so wow, me and this girl both admitted that we like each other, and so now I guess we're going out. So needless to say, I'm in a good mood. But she's a sophomore, and I'm a senior, so she doesn't know what her parents are gonna say. But I really don't think that it makes a difference.

In other news, wtf is the matter with UT. Vince Young is sucking it up.

and Sinking Ships rocks my socks, as does Beethoven's 9th symphony

Good times on the win, too bad you're hurt. I think that happens to like every athlete ever though. I don't think I've met someone who played sports and didn't fuck up their body somehow in so doing.

You guess? Haha, well good times man, that should be nice. Just make sure if you have sex she's not gonna accuse you of rape later on :p

In other news ASU is rocking LSU :D

Ode to Joy rocks, I was listening to (and playing along with) TSO's album last night. That's good stuff.

Hey, someone in the Pop-Punk forums had a Mr.Sparkle avatar, and now I can't find who it was. I really want to know where he/she got it from, if anyone could help? I'm pretty sure I saw it only yesterday.
Thanks!

Kif 09-11-2005 06:04 AM

Ace Enders said the new Early November album is finished and will be out around March next year :D
