That's true. But they shouldn't have made a big deal about it. After all, it's supposed to be about music, not money. Oh well, I find lars annoying even if he had never sued napster.

I kind of laugh when they asked him why he sued Npaster: he responded that that summer he wanted to become the most hated guy in music history.

Oh man I haven't been in this thread forever.

Actually, yesterday, when I downloaded the concert that was uploaded but I can't seem to do it again on this computer. It says the files are corrupt.

So this thursday (aka my 17th) I'm getting the Metallica Club membership. I'm pretty excited, except I'm hoping they go on tour (or at least put tix on presale) so I can buy them by next year. Anyone else a member?

I was thinking about joining a few years back, but then they released St. Anger...

Well except I've heard the gifts are pretty cool and the presale is amazing for shows so the main reason is because I want the presale. For anyone that knows MCI Center or Verizon Center its now called in DC, I had 400 level seats and they blew while my best friend was down 13 rows back. He's a member.

Depends. The most expensive is $55USD. So that's why I am getting it for my birthday. So it's really expensive to go to get good seats to Metallica shows.

Eh, perhaps 10 years ago I would've joined up haha. I can deal with bad seats at their shows these days. They seem to really be losing their stage presence, unfortunately.

I guess I've been to an arena like that. Every place I've been to has been an open floor thing, but then again, it IS Metallica. I've seen on Cunning Stunts and Live Sh8t everyone's in seats and it looks like you can hardly see anything from there.

When you're in the seats it doesnt seem that far away at all.

I still think they put on awesome shows. I've seen them about 6 times, first time was S&M in NY.:thumb:

I prefer seat to standing, as long as the seats aren't miles away.

I had seats at the Earl's Court gig and it was pretty cool, I had a great view.
