everyone needs "straight As" for everything
over here, an A is rewarded for students that perform *exceptionally* above what may be expected of them
a C is what you get if you literally do everything 100% correct, because Cs are awarded to students that do what is expected of them - a complete understanding of the course, and the ability to demonstrate it
no one has "straight As" anywhere

Yeah I kinda think I would do terribly in college. I stayed at home to help my family with all of our debt, but now I plan on enlisting. Maybe one day when I'm a little more mature and focused I'll try for a degree.

I totally agree. I took off time after high school 'cause I wasn't sure what I wanted to do and really didn't want to waste time and money taking a bunch of courses to [I]maybe[/I] find something I liked. A few years of working also allowed me save to pay for my own schooling straight.

i was more disciplined in school the second time around, can see the trend continuing as i grow older
