well, black sails, art of drowning, and all hallows ep are something in between their old and new stuff. it still has a punk sound, but the riffs are a little more darker? i can't really describe it.

their old stuff i don't like very much. it all kinda sounds the same. davey havoc even says in interviews that he doesn't like very proud of ya and their other older stuff.

AFI don't kinda suck. They are just a little boring. However, that makes each previous release better since they change their sound so goddamn much.
