Ugh, so I got to uni and my workshop was cancelled. This means I have 2 hours to kill in town. I brought my laptop luckily, so I'm just hanging out here for the time being. Might go up to the games lab in a few mins, since I want some of my battery to take notes in lectures.

Uh-oh an E in law (TBH 1 mark away from a D). I didn't revise that much and have 6 weeks to put it right. The sh'it my teacher is coming out with now tho' is making me feel :\. He said if you fail this exam in January and then re-do it then most Uni's won't except you even if you pass 2nd time round :|. Which I think is bullsh'it

Is this AS levels or GCSEs? If it's AS levels, he may have a point, depending on when you re-take. If you fail an AS in January, and then can't re-take it in July, but have to wait until next January to re-take it, then you'll have finished with UCAS before you re-take it. Meaning that Unis will makes offers to you based on your first take, so if you **** up in Jan and don't retake until next Jan, then Unis may well not offer you a place. However, what you could always do is, if the re-take is in next January, then you could either wait to see if you get any good offers, and if not, take a gap year and re-apply to UCAS, as this time you'll have not only your re-take grades, but your final grades; or, just don't apply to UCAS at all for now, and apply during your gap year.

Of course, if you can re-take your January module in July, so before you send your stuff of to UCAS, then it'll be fine. Assuming you're AS, not GCSE. And if you're in your A2 year, well, then the Unis won't find know the grade you get in January when they make their offers, and it won't make a difference. But yeh, if you're AS and you can't re-take until next January, it WILL make a big difference on whether you get into uni or not if you **** up.

It's simillar except WAY more relaxed, it's like sample-based chill out, if you know what I mean (and the samples tend to be flutes & Gerogian monks :\)

PAYDAY (dunno why i keep capitalising that) doesn't come round often enough. i know it would be less money if i was more often, but i'd like it better if it was weekly of summink.

I like it monthly :) obviously I can see why weekly pay's a good thing, but I'm starting to live within some kind of budget.
