Dude, I wish I could afford a new videogame system...I'm still playing my Super Nintendo. :upset:

blueyxd 10-25-2005 07:18 AM

the Super Nintendo was good.. I never had one, but I got an emulator and a bunch of games on the computer. My girlfriend has a Super Nintendo and she wants to buy a Sega Master System soon. Some of those old school games were great.

I've got a job, dude. But minimum wage here in the Bluegrass State kills me...($5.15). But all money usually goes towards the band anyway. So fuck videogames :p

Lord Abortion 10-25-2005 07:31 AM

Indeed, Metal>Videogames...

Just about, anyways.

Yes indeed.

Dude, speaking of which, we have to go back in to re-record the song I was trying to upload a couple weeks ago...the studio's computer crashed while it was being mastered and everything was lost...that really sucks.

That's harsh, man.

Band practice in 1 hour 20 mins!

First one in two weeks, due to various problems relating to people and the practice place being used...

You're telling me, man! Took 8 hours to record that sum'bitch!

Yeah, dude, we aven't practiced in a couple weeks either, and that wasn't smart, especially since we had that show last Saturday...

Arucard 10-25-2005 08:01 AM

Man, when we record i just leave our drummer to it. He lays his tracks down first, which takes him about 3 hours :\

It usually takes me 2 or 3 takes on guitar, but about 10 on vocals.

I would say completely.

Lord Abortion 10-25-2005 08:06 AM

After two weeks, I can't remember half the lyrics to the covers...

stupid Metallica.

I'm the same way...

it took our drummer only 1 take, our bass player 2 takes, guitars 6 takes (double tracked everything, including solos) 2 takes on our first vocals, 2 takes on the second vocals, 3 takes on the gang vocals.

I wish we had enough money to record a demo, man...it costs $300 a day to record there...ouch...

Arucard 10-25-2005 08:21 AM

Our drummer works really hard, so we record at his. He has Logic, which as you've probably guessed, is a profressional level recording program.

Lord Abortion 10-25-2005 08:42 AM

You hear about the Indian Metallica cover band?

Seikh and destroy, they're called.

while you ponder wether that's racist or not, I'm off to band practice, Ta-ra!

I prefer consoles for most games. The only kind I really don't like on consoles are real-time strategies.

Coincidentally, I'm in the process of getting myself an Xbox at the moment. I miss games, since my PS2 died.

Axe 10-25-2005 09:20 AM

did they play glass prison?

Firecracker 10-25-2005 09:23 AM
did they play glass prison?
Haha, yeah, they played 'Octavarium' which was hell of an amazing.
But i wanted them to play 'In The Name Of God' so badly, but they didn't, oh well, it was still immense.
Hey I'm finally back from a two week absence, so how are things at MX? To whom it may concern, I'll be starting my next Classical education email this weekend.
 I love the Chopin compositions you included the other time. I'm looking forward to some more passionate and melodic classical music (please, no slow mellow stuff)

NP-Nirvana- where did you sleep last night?
how come? It used to be my favourite song off Unplugged in New York. Now, Im not sure whether he was being emotional or just out of tone :\
Hey, I was like you guys before I went to Uni, we had practically no English Grammar in High school, so I was just like you guys, just using it, but not knowing why. But now there's looooads of grammar and the professor gets mad if we can't explain why we do something. So, I try to learn it. :upset:
Surprisingly, you seem to be very good at language for someone who sleeps during lectures!
