I also have a Demented Are Go! and Conflict Patch on it, and one of the pockets is covered in various pins.

Warren complimented my AM! crest :)

Hey man, I'd love to Stencil taht A//POLITICAL patch on my Cardigan.

TheNowhereman42 11-07-2005 11:12 PM

Yeah, I used the stencil to make a shirt too, but it printed black on white and the water is blue. And my ROP teacher liked it so he had me print it on felt for the display case.

For the record, its silkscreened, not spray painted.

And if anyone wants a shirt out of any of those I can print one up real easy for like a tenner, or a patch for a couple bucks. We also have a subhumans one, a cra'sshole records one, a couple meteors ones, a big flux of pink indians one, a The Red Chord one, a Number 12 looks like you, a Skeptix one, Mos Def, a couple graffiti ones, soon we'll probably do a johnny cash one, etc. Or I can do any large not too intricate design, think stuff off stencilpunx

I think shane can do more intricate stuff, he probably has access to better equipment.

Lazybassplr56 11-07-2005 11:14 PM

My friend at school can do some really good stencils. I want him to make me a stencil so I can spraypaint my vans.

If they're the slip-ons use fabric paint!

Lazybassplr56 11-07-2005 11:16 PM

Right.

Make me a Clockwork Orange shirt? There's a cool eye stencil off stencilpunx

TheNowhereman42 11-07-2005 11:19 PM

Whats your email? And where do you live?

You must've forgot that the Y stands for "yourself" in DIY.
I liked your tip about not running as well, too many idiots run when they see the police and that gives them more reason to arrest you. Don't be an a'ss to them and try to follow their orders within legal limits, because anything deviation you do just causes you more harm.
Haha, I remember when I was 15, having a joint under the bridge in Camden (the alt/stoner centre of Britain, obviously) and we saw some policemen strolling towards us, maybe 200m away. I saw a glimpse of their uniform and sprinted maybe two metres before this stereotypical Rasta guy who was trying to sell us more weed made me stop, and walk off slowly and calmly.

I was such an idiot back then.
Oh, I remembered another DIY tip. If you're travelling with ganja, duct tape it to the inside of your thigh. I know it's uncomfortable, and I know it's paranoid, but getting arrested for possession is not fun, believe me. if you get a drugs conviction in the UK, you can't go into the USA or Australia. and it doesn't hurt when you take it off.
Meh. Weed's not my thing anymore (I prefer things that can slide behind my buspass or whatever, you know), but that seems really extreme. Unless you're stoned at the time and therefore acting suspiciously they won't choose to search you...

That depends how you look. Me, I'm a 'hunted minority', so says my father. I dress casual and people still tell me I look revolutionary.

Jon 11-08-2005 12:40 PM

Me = glamrocker. I'm sure I stand out more

So how about those new guys, Spit Like This? They're funny, and their music is alrightish, but it gets on my nerves.

Jon 11-08-2005 01:01 PM

Their music is pretty lame, but they're really great guys, I see them all the time. I was on their merch stool for a gig recently.

coheneran 11-08-2005 01:04 PM

I bought their single EP, but I didn't like it so it turned into a birthday present, I forget to whom. Vicky Spit is so fine (I was going to say fit, but I thought better of it).

Jon 11-08-2005 02:23 PM

The new one? Its not very good, hehe.

They're great live though, they don't come through on the albums at all. ala MC5. Except MC5 owned.
how do you acid wash a pair of jeans?
I was wondering this too. Anyone know?

Culture Shock 11-08-2005 03:46 PM

I can wear shoes forever or until the soles wear out. Anyone know how I can fix the holes in the bottom of my shoe?

Scabies 11-08-2005 04:22 PM

glue gun or burn it together with a lighter. being a skater my shoes f'uck up all the time so i know these things :)

Liebensaft 11-08-2005 04:22 PM

Duct tape?

coheneran 11-08-2005 05:12 PM

Duct tape doesn't last. Learn how to sew leather :thumb:

So then why don't you suggest Shoe Goo to everyone?

Sebek 11-08-2005 06:02 PM

I'm going to work on getting New York Dolls, Motley Crue and Ratt stencils on my jacket within the coming weeks.

GBH will be done sometime this week when I become unlazy.

I'll try to get some pics up soon as I get to my friend's house whom is in posession of a camera.
