Yeah, I still find it hard to believe that some people can get 8,000 posts in a few months.

I recently decided to listen to SP's MCIS in its entirity... pretty cool, the songs that are bad (Scorched earth comes to mind..) dont stand out as much when thrown against such a huge number of good songs, and theres just such a variety that it never gets boring. Very cool.

I've really been diggin' [i]Hex[/i] by Bark Psychosis and a bunch of Nick Drake, Elliott Smith, and Fly Pan Am.

I just bought "a series of sneaks" by Spoon... and i'm just listening to it over and over and over and... great cd. Check their website out to listen to songs, especially "jonathan fisk". addictive

I've been listening to Puggy a lot recently. They played at our university the other day and they were the best act i've seen play there. Live they sounded like a mellow Mr. Bungle with Jeff Buckley-esque vocals.

recently... Prosaics - "Aghast Agape EP". It's pretty decent stuff. Definitely influenced by Joy Division's famous production but with a slicker sheen and the music follows accordingly with the angular/post-punk vibe.

Bloc Party is what I've been listening to today. I'm inconvenienced to no end by the fact that my v-amp has died.

I've gotten back into my Mogwai phase again. But I've also begun to listen to Sunn O))).
