AYP is good, so is studsandspikes.com
I went into Hot Topic to buy a shirt for my sister over christmas, and noticed they sell stickers now that just say Angry, Young, and Poor. Except they have no mention of the website, and acctually advertise a different website, no doubt some **** sticker company.

DIY stealin time!
what methods do you use?
ive heard of bunches of people runnin in fast as hell taking stuff and running out as fast as humanly possible before anyone can react
if you look at my vest, and read my previous post about my extra pocket...my methods arre obvious....shove it in my pocket discretely and walk out...or if it's small, get more shit than walk out...or to quote Choking Victim, "which is my favorite, where is my chance, to remove the product and stick it in my pants" :naughty:

Anarcho Posuer 01-09-2005 09:51 AM

Hot topic sells baggies of like 20 studs for $5. It's silly.

Also, I'm rather hesitant to buy from AY&P now, because I recently ordered a t-shirt and a bunch of patches from there, and they didn't send 3 of them. None of them are listed as out of stock either.

Yeah, they often mess up orders. My friend ordered an Oxymoron patch from there and instead they sent him a patch that said "Oi! that's your lot". Out of shirts a lot too.

They go out of stock really fast. Check your order form, anything you didn't get should be crossed off and deducted from your total. Both my orders I've made from them I've had one thing out of stock, one was my Oi Polloi patch, and the other my 2nd Clockwork Orange shirt. But I never got backorders on either.

Usually if they run out of a patch, they'll send my money back and sometimes a different patch along with my refund.

honkybrewster 01-09-2005 03:22 PM

You may just have to get used to not washing jackets. I don't know how to wash my leather jackets, and I'd probably never do it even if I did because I'm lazy.

What metal are the studs made from?

Has anyone seen the pics of my first ever attempt at a jacket?

If the studs are secured well, you can wash them. I haven't washed mine since I put the studs in though, but I'm going to try soon. Put the washer on extra delicate, maybe even hand washables, and hang dry it. I made the mistake of washing my jacket for the first time after I put my patches on in regular, and some of my patches are all frayed.

Brain Toad 01-09-2005 05:25 PM
Yeah, it was crossed off, and I got three dollars back, but what's three dollars when the shipping costs 6?
The shipping is a flat cost, no matter how many items. Like with my shirt, it had $8 shipping for both, but I only got one shirt and it stayed $8 shipping for the one.
What metal are the studs made from?

Aluminum probably, most everything is made from that nowadays.\
My dad gave me his old leather jacket from the 70's and I kinda wanna stud it up but I don't know where I'm gonna get leather-piercing studs.
People have said use a dart to puncture a whole for where the studs go, or another thin sharp object shall work. Stud stapler, but those are kinda hard to find.

Awl for punching hole in most kinds of leather or leather type textile. It comes with 2 blades that can be set for most kinds of studs, plus an extra set of blades. Blade width can be adjusted from 1/4 inch to 1 inch and all sizes in between.
