yeah they do really suck :lol: but I can't say I blame alot of bands for not wanting young musicians with them. How old are the guys in TTEOTD? Like barely into their 20's right?

I'm actually on the lookout for more established bands that need a vocalist as well...I really need a stronger gig....

Bloodbath was looking for a vocalist like 2 years ago, but I wasn't exactly a great vocalist at that point.

My friends told me to try out for Bloodbath, lol. Imagine if I would have and they went with a 16 year old.

My guitarist actually supported me trying out for BB....but I sucked back then and didn't know BB material that well...

I would have never forgiven them or you, tbh. :lol:

Mappy and I both are very precise singers with good ranges and relatively good enunciation (for the genres we do/have done).

Based on everything BB has done up to this point, I don't know why they are being so stingy about this one...it's not like they need an opera singer :lol:.

I've never recorded anything I had lyrics written for, it's a lot easier for me to write lyrics based on vocal patterns that I already have recorded because I have a really bad sense of flow.

I'm the opposite. I like to write my lyrics and then articulate them around the music a lot of the time....but that's the way I am...

I've done it both ways. If I write lyrics independent of a song and I like them I'll make them fit into a song. I also used to do a lot of freestyle type vocals when we were writing a song and flesh it out while we were writing it.
