So is the new muse album any good then? I didn't like Super Massive Black hole too much at first when I heard it but its growing on me...

need to rebuy a ton of CD's because my older sister is going to uni, my ATDI collection and smiths stuff is all gonna be gone:(

And dude, at Uni, you can normally mooch of other students for music. I recommend a spare harddrive for music :D

It's fabulous, in my opinion of course.
If Supermassive Blackhole had to grow on you, some tracks will have to as well. You could easily like lots of tracks as well. Definitely worth getting.

Oh Uni worries me slightly.
Because I haven't the faintest idea what I want to do with my life, I'm just taking things I like/thought might be interesting for college right now.

It's completely different to those albums, but then, most of Muse's albums are different from eachother. Showbiz is more raw, rocky and unproduced. Origin is the transition from that to absolution, rocky but with definite references to Absolution. Then absolution is more effects/producing, even on the otherwise rocky tracks.
This is more of a dip from rock into synthy, effects, and beats etc. But it's still obviously muse.

I have to say, Muse on their Absolution tour where immense. They opened with the first track on the album (Acoplypse please...I think). It was insane...and StockHolm Syndrome..I almost died.
