Tricky situation man. Mind you, understated gay guys tend to get a lot more respect, at least from me and my associates. Rampaging, flaming poofs, although funny, can get kinda annoying, whereas classy, reserved gay men are great guys to be around. So I dunno, perhaps find the sexual image that suits you, don't go conforming to a "gay" or "bisexual" stereotype because you feel you have to, because that's bullsh'it, heterosexuals don't have to be one thing, so why should other folks?

i understand what you mean, on a smaller scalce. for example, i always cover up my tattoos and take out piercings when i visit my grandparents, because they are old and will die soon... and have too much to deal with already (like their own death, all their friends dying, taking their medication on time) they dont need to "open their mind" or "come to terms" with alternative life styles, or whatever, its just not worth it when someone is 87. right? i just want them to be happy and have the least amount of conflict/worry in their life as they can right now. i mean, personally my grandma will love me, of course whatever, but i am afraid that she will worry about me more... and i dont want that to happen. and hiding my tattoos doesnt really make me feel bad, i dont really care. as long as you dont care about hiding this part of you, then do what you gotta do!

I showed my grandparents my ink, not sure why, I think because I'm so proud of it, and they're pretty liberal anyway.

Wow, that must be SOME dilemma. Well, maybe it wouldn't hurt him as bad seeing as you also like girls. You're not just a straight up homosexual, you go the other way to, so to speak. And, he's your grandpa. If you told him, yeah, it would probably hurt him a bit, but still, it's unconditional love, man. I'm sure the old guy would love you no matter what, and whatever relationship you have with him would most likely stay the same.

At the risk of sounding redneck, I wouldn't let him know, especially if the old guy is sick/near death. I mean imagine dying with someone who is obviously so important to you angry with you for something you can't change. I mean sure he might eventually get over it, but he may not have time to...

Damn, i JUST noticed the new thread. Haven't been on the forums for two weeks.

Anyway, last week my schools student council was doing this thing where you could send roses to people on valentine's day with a message that had your name on it. I gave it a shot and sent one to the girl i like. Tomorrow's the big day :) Wish me luck.

I'm dating a complete moron. She yelled at me for three hours, because she thought I was cheating on her based on stuff she found on Myspace. This girl I was "cheating" with, was in fact, my second cousin.

Stupid, stupid girl. Took me and her best friend hours to calm her down.

Now she's finally talking to me, and is saying she wants us to talk more like we used to, and that may fix some of out problems. Who knows if she's being truthful this time.

The main problem now, is that I am still bitter over all this drama, and I'm instantly put in a bad mood when I talk to her. Will this feeling pass, or am I just going to be pissed off at her for as long as we're together?

I.. Don't know, but, I think that on friday, something happened, and now(monday) they made up or whatever. I'm not too worried about them right now, tommorow, my curiosityw ill get to me and I'll end up asking though.

Yes, start off with casual conversation. It's kinda weird to go up to a girl, regardless of how well you know eachother, and without any warning at all, just say, "Hey, will you go out with me?"
