At first, I thought they were mediocre. Because Davey Havoc's vocals really turned me off from the band. But when their last album came out, I just didn't like them because they were getting a bit too mainstream and emo for me.

Well Davey's vocals are pretty whiney. I heard a rumor that all of them were actually gay, I'm not trying to diss them, I actually did hear that they were all homosexuals. Is this true? If it isn't don't bag on me for dissing them or anything

it sure looked that way. anyway, rumors or not, most of the obsessed, stupid teenie boppers can tell you that they read on the VH1 webforum that some guy who knows the truth says that davey is married. which carries no weight in my mind, despite trying to sound like it has some sort of credibility. not to mention being married doesn't mean you aren't gay, and it certainly doesn't eliminate the possiblity that you're bisexual.

jade and davey are usually rumored to be gay, because of how they choose to express themselves. on the other hand, teenage girls go ga-ga over the whole band. i've never seen hard evidence either way, and it doesn't really matter a whole lot.

But Davey was rumored to be bisexual since a while ago. Not long after the rumor started floating around, Jade denied that Davey was. Don't know why Jade did it for him, but that's all the news about that I think.

I think Jade said it because he got pissed off and was the only one around at the time or because if Davey said it they'd all be like "stop denying it." Davey has described his "perfect girl" on the radio before. Oh, and the "Davey's married" thing came from him wearing a wedding band in one of the promo pictures. As to bisexuality, totally possible. I think most people are at least slightly bisexual (not necessarily 50/50 but there's a bit of a spectrum there) and don't say so just because it's not by much. There's always the simple metro-sexual thing too though. You know, glam boys.

A lot of his makeup style comes from Danzig and Robert Smith. Anything they do with makeup, he'll probably do. Remember, he was practically a Danzig-clone for about 5 years, and is now transitioning into Robert Smith (thankfully, his hair does not defy gravity though). They're his idols.
