I already missed them, twice.

Bedtime has a couple good songs, but I'm not as impressed with it. That and Give Me... are the only albums I don't actually own, mainly because I can't find them anywhere.

I do prefer bootlegs over albums sometimes because they are great live, especially Jello's rants in between songs. The Oregon show is the best to watch because Jello is so animated throughout the whole thing. He makes fun of Ray a couple times because he has to tune up off stag when his guitar breaks, which is where Jello does Night of the Living Rednecks.

I would go see the new DK if they ever came back to the bay area, which I doubt they will seeing as they will shunned by their fans for being without Jello. I really want to watch Ray play, even though he is rarley very animated, since he left it all to Jello. I wonder if Penalty can match him, probably not, he does a poor job in the vocal department from the bootleg I have.

Not at all. And they still sing the old songs, which means it is 2005 and they still sing about Reagan.

they should changed it up..replaced regan with bush or somthing.im still going to see them if they ever come to south texas.

They could attempt to write new songs and put out a new album, but it would probably get the same reception as the new Misfits, a really bad one. I don't think Penalty or any of the old members have the song writing ability of Jello. I man the crown achievement of Klaus' song writing was Dog Bite.

Lots of searching on soulseek. I found a new by accident on WinMx back in the day. Then on Slsk I just started searching "Dead Kennedys" and weeding through all the regular albums to find any bootlegs I don't have. The most promident ones are listed on a lot of sites though, such as "Spend 4th of July with the Dead Kennedys" and "Skateboard Party"

You should see all his bootlegs, he's a f'ucking nerd.

Only DVDs I have on my comp of theirs is The Early Years and In God We Trust Inc - The Lost Tapes. The other DVD DMPOs on Broadway is the video of the Never Been on MTV bootleg I think.

Ebay or Interpunk. If you have a smaller record store they have them. I know Rasputin Music here has them, but I never bought them because I haven't had a DVD player that long, and or the money.

It's ok, and intresting to see them recording. But the songs aren't much different, because those were the ones put on the reissue. The live clips they did were really intresting.


I have also noticed while listening to bootlegs, in some versions of "Holiday in Cambodia" Jello will say "blacks" instead of "******s", and intresting tidbit.

But that's the best word in the song.

He also introduces Nazi Punks F'uck Off as Nazi Rednecks F'uck Off.

Yeah he changes the name of that song sometimes too. I think it depends on the crowd.

I have been wonderinga bout this for a long time, i was looking at the Frankenchrist and bedtime for Democracy booklets, and they both have somehting on them that say Spiritual Guidance:Norm, and bedtime says Spiirtual Guidance: Pippin Youth. What the hell does this mean?

i read the one on BTD but never thought of anything of it.
