Hey... I'm playing that for an acoustic set tonight at my school. :thumb:

hey, you're not cory! 05-20-2005 09:51 PM

man, its a good song, but you're gonna put people to sleep, they need to shave 4 minutes off of it

stupid computer

TMA 05-20-2005 11:30 PM

Screw that. The loved it! It's such an epic song. There is ONE part I cut out, and that's the "Liar" part. Too boring for me. Oh, but the **** hit the floor during those last two minutes of the song. They just loved it. And I now declare myself to be a Pimp, on many different levels.
Oh yeah, and I also played Master of Puppets by Metallica... not acoustic! No, I did it electric with my brother, and that's a hard song to play.
AND I GOT ME A NEW GIRL! SWEET!

Rancid Dan 05-21-2005 03:52 AM

I downloaded a few of the songs from the ysi thread.

There ok, the singers voice is annoying though...

chumpradio 05-21-2005 03:56 AM

I got the songs from the YSI thread. They are great, I can't believe I had gone for so long without actually hearing any songs by them.

 I HATE that excuse.

Im glad to see people listening to them though.

And the light and the glass has a pretty kickass ending. Come to think of it, i dont care for IRO-bot. But i <3 21:13.

At an art show in school tonight, my band are having opening ceremonies. Heres the set list...the starred one have our drummer playing as well (he has meesed up legs right now,he shouldnt be playing too much)..

1.A favor house atlantic*
2.santeria
3.carousel
4.basket case
5.In keeping secrets of silent earth: 3
6.Another brick in the wall: pt.2*

I think it might be a tradition from now on to close all shows with another brick in the wall.
Nice to see you're still breathing.
Yeah, I visit every once in a while.
Yeah, I visit every once in a while.
Like now?

And the show went great. My friends dad flipped out because we played santeria, he loved it. And i think the best sounnding song there was AFHA, it came out perfect from all of us.

DJ Ducksauce 05-21-2005 08:29 PM

Who sang AFHA? I'd be embarassed to sing that high even though I can.

DJ Ducksauce 05-21-2005 08:46 PM

Almost 600....

cobert 05-21-2005 08:50 PM

I can too....and we dont have a singer. Im a screamer / second singer (for if we play something form like, taking back sunday), but its awkward playing three evils, when all of the sudden i bust out in "FOLLOWING YOU, ON THE INTER-STATE WALK-ING AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!" when there was no singing the entire song.

Rancid Dan 05-22-2005 07:35 AM

I'm getting into them now, i got their second album i think from Kif...

Motha fuckin' P. I. M. P.

That YSI thread seems to be helping people alot in here.

:amaze: That's creepy, because I made an LJ post, dicussing that matter, and I titled it "I'm just a muthaf*ckin' P.I.M.P".
Sweeeeeeet...

cobert 05-23-2005 06:01 PM

Creepiness ++ indeed.

Get some songs from their first album too, like Everything Evil, Neverender and Delirium Trigger.

cobert 05-24-2005 09:46 AM
Get some songs from their first album too, like Everything Evil, Neverender and Delirium Trigger.
And 33. In my opinion, that's the best song on SSTB.

hey, you're not cory! 05-24-2005 11:09 AM

wow, Cob, you're the first person i've ever heard say that

cobert 05-24-2005 04:58 PM

Really? I love that song, its so energetic and upbeat. The best on IKSOSE is definitely the crowing.

Sep 05-25-2005 07:11 AM

Yeah 33 is really great and catchy, but you'll get bored of it eventually.
But you're right it's great if you're just getting into them.

The first song I heard was Everything Evil, but it wasn't until I heard A Favor House Atlantic that I really got into them.

cobert 05-25-2005 09:20 AM

I never get bored of 33. I actually get bored of everything evil sometimes.

I, too, got into them after hearing a favor house atlantic. Then i accidentally bought SSTB and i loved it.

TMA 05-25-2005 10:47 AM

Screw all that. I heard Delirium Trigger, and that was it. From there, is just progressed.

Sep 05-25-2005 11:15 AM

Yeah Delirium Trigger is incredible.

Electric Ocean 05-25-2005 11:31 AM

Devil in Jersey City was the first song I heard by them but I didn't know who it was by for about a year. When I eventually found out though, I downloaded some more stuff and then I had to get both albums.

hey, you're not cory! 05-25-2005 11:35 AM

I lost my bought copy of IKSSE:3. I don't know what to do with myself. :upset:
