Man thats awesome another albums coming out, ok I don't know if this is true or not but I looked in to it and I saw the release of the album God hates us all, and I saw what time it was released and it was SEPT 11 2001, well I was just thinking how big of a coincidence this was, does anybody know if that is the actual release date.

i heard about this too. i doubt Slayer has anything to do with taliban however, though war ensemble, war zone, fight till death, and mandatory suicide could promote heavy muslim belief :p

Well if you like Slayer a band whose singer cant sing and whose guitar players play chromatics 80% of the time because they are talentless hacks then yes, you know dick about music.

But to change the subject... did anybody here about that whole slayer VS sepultura fued, I guess sepultura said slayer were sending out bad messages to kids with there explicit lyrics... they suposedly had just a verbal war back in forth. IMO I love sepultura and my likeing of them didn't change after I heard about this fued but, sepultura has a right to there own opinion but I don't think they should try to be causing fights with other bands.

That's what Slayerized.com says. Then they said when Max left, that all of that fued crap died off.

Besides, fighting is for competitive hungry animals who have to be better than someone else just to feel proud. That's just my opinion. Competetion is cool such as games, video games, stuff like that, but in reality, it's not worth to say "This band is the best, and you can goto hell if you don't like it".

Something that sounds like RIB again? South of Heaven, Seasons in the Abyss? Or possibly something kind of more modern?

Hey, I'm not pushing the Bible. I'm not even a Christian, buddy. I have my own unique system of beliefs on religion that I'm not going to elaborate on here, cause it's f***ing irrelevant. I catch crap from the Bible-thumpers all the time because of that.

But Slayer's lyrics just don't mean much to me, and they're vocalist doesn't seem as talented as alot of other metal bands I've seen lately. When the message "RELIGION IS CRAP!" is drummed into your head constantly, it just doesnt mean much anymore, and you start wondering if a band doesn't just try to find whatever lyric subjects they think will draw the most attention.
