Mega_Dave 09-05-2004 02:37 PM

I'd rather have Marty back myself, but I doubt that's going to happen, this new guy should probaly do just fine.

Where did Dave get the inspiration for his album title "Rust In Peace"?

Angels_dont_Kill 09-05-2004 03:49 PM

I thought Chris Poland was playing on TSHF...........

another guy 09-05-2004 04:05 PM

alright **** it im just gonna make a new thread for the trivia question.

Five Magics 09-05-2004 06:07 PM
alright **** it im just gonna make a new thread for the trivia question.
I think the inspiration came from the fact that Rust in Peace came out during the cold war era or the height of it anyway. And what it signifies is that I think Dave got the album title from a quote he seen somewhere (dont know where), and I could be wrong with this is "May all your nuclear weapons rust in peace".

GraveRobbersINC 09-05-2004 06:20 PM

^yeah I was reading the insert for Rust and it says it was from a quote that went something like that. I think it was from the title of a book though, mabye I'm thinking of Peace Sells.

MAthiAS 09-05-2004 06:27 PM

Peace Sells was from an article Dave read.

yea, it's in the inset for the Rust In Peace re-master. he saw it on a bumper sticker it said "may all your nuclear weapons rust in peace" or something similar

SB_Haggard 09-05-2004 06:45 PM

thats what makes me wanna get all the Iron Maiden remasters, i wanna make out Eddie's head! imagine having Vic and Eddie next to each other in your cd rack. oh man, remasters here i come. i am such a tool, but if i could see vic and eddie next to each other in remaster form i would die a happy man.

flappersack 09-06-2004 05:10 AM

^^^
good god, i would die a happy man also - that would be heaven in the form of cd cases

GraveRobbersINC 09-06-2004 06:32 AM

dude I want the Maiden, Priest, and Megadeth remasters for that reason. Does anyone know what the priest sides make?

FrailandBedazzled1979 09-06-2004 12:50 PM

Judas Priests is black with fire on the sides and spells "Judas Priest" in sort of chinese lettering, Iron Maiden's show Eddie's face going across them all.

SB_Haggard 09-06-2004 03:59 PM

Great...now i gotta go out and get all those cds too lol

Mega_Dave 09-06-2004 04:05 PM

Vic's face in CDs isn't worth my money, neither is Eddie's.

SB_Haggard 09-06-2004 04:06 PM

No...but the music is...the pictures are just an added bonus

FrailandBedazzled1979 09-06-2004 04:18 PM

i already have all the studio albums (megadeth, maiden, priest) so buying all remasters is a waste of money really, i have some of hte priest and maiden remasters...kind of wish i bought them all, but i dont think about it to much.

Why don't you just sell the originals and buy the remasters, sounds kinda weird but you could think of it that you're losing original pieces of greatness or gaining better quality.
