Do you have a bass without a neck pickup, that makes it easier to learn on :)

Im having problems deciding which thing I could choose as a present for Christmas...here are the options:

- Roland keyboard
- Telecaster squier guitar
- Archtop guitar
- Morley Wah pedal for bass + Big Muff
- Just keep saving to get a SUB Stingray someday

Yes I do, but it's a 6 stringer (see profile pic) so the string spacing makes it a fair bit harder to learn on than my trusty old Musicman replica.

I'm getting the right sound, I just have to neaten it up a bit and let my thumb acclimatize.

What mean "referrals" in the profile?

When you create an account there's a box where you can put the screen-name of the MXer who showed you the boards. I have 2, so 2 people filled the box with 'Wintermute'
