N64
A little late there :p |
It's still awesome though. I play Perfect Dark regularly.
|
As a sports gamer first and foremost, the N64 did nothing for me - weird controller, blurry graphics, limited memory. I was a PlayStation guy.
|
That's all PlayStation was good for, actually.
|
Probably so, but I don't really care all that much.
|
Playstation < N64
N64 has some incredible games. Zelda, Theif, Conker's Bad Fur Day, 007, Perfect Dark, Mario 64....etc Playstation sucked really. |

I don't expect everyone to agree with me here. |
What did he do?
seasons greetings Classic Rock people
having got a load of money for christmas, i'm wondering about some classic rock cds to buy. at the moment, the only kind of classic rock (if you really class them as that not prog) is pink floyd, but i'd like to get into some more. i'm thinking about getting The Who - The Ultimate Collection, would this be a good buy for a Who n00b, or should i go for one of their other albums? |
I usually favor the actual albums over greatest hits complilations, but that's probably your best bet if you aren't familiar with their material. Either that or Who's Next.
|
if youre a who noob, thats a great album to get. its the best "best of..." for the who that ive seen.
|
If I lived in Michigan, I'd help you dispose of the body. ;)
Why in the hell don't the Kinks get more respect?!?! Everything I've heard from them has been high quality. I really think they were one of the best bands of the 60's. |
ok, thanks a lot. i'll get it within the next couple of weeks :).
|

Don't blame me, I like them more than the Beatles. |

I was listening to Willie Nelson this morning. He is really good, if you like older country.
Which one did you get?
Blue Train. Ah, I remember my good old N64 days......Goldeneye was the best game for N64. Hands down. Then I moved up to an X-Box. |
I thought you were crazy too. :amaze:
I still think: Kinks < Beatles Beatles > anyone (no joke) *mistake fixed |
Speaking of Beatles, I'm enjoying Revolver on Vinyl right now
|
New CD update:
Clear Light and the Misunderstood both have very good instrumentals, but lack alittle in the vocal department. Overall they are pretty solid albums. Captain Beyond is a very good rock album. |

^I'm begining to respect you more and more but not because I think you listen to good music, it's because you're very diverse in general and also compared to most of the regulars here. To each as own but diversity is a very great thing. :)
NP: Piano Sonata No. 14 in C sharp Minor: Adagio sostenuto - Beethoven This is the most beautiful song I've ever heard and is probablly the only song to ever make me tear up. |

I like that one too
i drove the both of us to kalamazoo and back which is a good 2 hours each way and he refused to pitch in for gas money. i was so pissed. i drive him ****ing everywhere when we're home anyway.
Yeesh, that kinda sucks :-\
(a laundry basket filled with snack food and pop").
"pop", oh you silly midwesterner
Beatles > anyone (no joke)
I disagree, I think the Beatles could have been great, but they were too frivolous...most of their material is fluff and useless crap, for every solid gold song there is another disposable vanity project done by one of them. I've found that their albums are, for the most part, very inconsistent (Revolver and maybe Rubber Soul are the only strong ones overall, and even those have some crappy songs on there)
ABB-Brothers & Sisters (had on mp3)
I've made a concious effort to get hard copies of albums I have on MP3 (like The Low End Theory, for example)...glad I'm not the only one. NP: A Tribe Called Quest - Buggin' Out |
So I've spent the last two days putting music onto the Pod.
Other loot: Tommy-Quadrophenia DVD Concert for George DVD Moondance - Van Morrison Best of the Animals $270 |
So I've spent the last two days putting music onto the Pod.
Other loot: Tommy-Quadrophenia DVD Concert for George DVD Moondance - Van Morrison Best of the Animals $270
Same. I'm finally wrapping it all up. I've edited them all to perfection, and added so you can see the album cover while it plays. |
