Perfect albums ehh? Schyma's Perfect Albums ------------------------ Eat a Peach - Allman Brothers Revolver - Beatles, The Blow by Blow - Beck, Jeff Modern Sounds in Country Western - Charles, Ray A Love Supreme - Coltrane, John Miles Smiles - Davis, Miles Out to Lunch - Dolphy, Eric s/t - Doors, The Five Leaves Left - Drake, Nick Pink Moon - Drake, Nick Bringing It All Back Home - Dylan, Bob Workingman's Dead - Grateful Dead Village Green - Kinks, The Forever Changes - Love Dark Side Of The Moon - Pink Floyd Piper At the Gates Of Dawn - Pink Floyd OK Computer - Raidio Head Djangology - Reinhardt, Django These albums are all flawless......although looking back on the last "perfect" list I made, I am way more flexible in choosing which albums are given the title of being flawless this time around......odd. |
I'll agree with Grace, and I'll add After the Goldrush for myself simply because it is my favourite album ever.
Being a Jeff Buckley fanboy is fun.:) |
I'd say Dark Side of the Moon, On The Beach, Close To The Edge, Revolver, The Band (s/t), Blind Faith, and I'll probably edit it more later. (Perfect albums, that is.)
|
So who's heard what about the Bob Dylan movie being made?
|
I've heard nothing.
But, I do know that the Dire Straits are very damn good. |
Perfect albums?
1. In The Court Of The Crimson King - King Crimson 2. The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway - Genesis 3. Brain Salad Surgery - Emerson Lake And Palmer (almost all perfect except for Benny The Bouncer) 4. Close To The Edge - Yes 5. Fragile - Yes |
Neal Morse - ?
On The Beach
I never got into On the Beach. Completely Perfect Albums: ------------------------------ Johnny Cash - Unchained Dr. John - Gris-gris Grateful Dead - Workingman's Dead Grateful Dead - Europe '72 The Beatles - Revolver Calexico - Convict Pool [EP] |
I think On The Beach gets old after a while
I heard a Christmas song by Dr. John the other day, it was pretty cool, blues sort of thing Chinese accents are hard because if you ask them to repeat themselves they just say it louder and they can get a little scary |

Just look at the picture |
ugly.
|

revival!
i also think convict pool is perfect, except that i am missing si tu disais. it just plays corona twice, which skips. i should probably just buy the actual cd. alone again or is better with calexico's singer. he's got a cool drawl. |
Si Tu Disais is probably my favorite song on there.
:) |
London Calling. Now there's a perfect album for ye.
|
Eh.
I'm not big on The Clash.. np: Matisyahu - King Without a Crown(Live at Stubb's) Excellent song. I like it better then the version on SOTD...A |
In a Silent Way
|
Another one is West Side Soul by Magic Sam. Such a good album. One of my favorite blues albums ever.
I might send it out tonight. |
Johnny Cash - Live At Folsom Prison
I literally see no flaws there. |

Fresh Cream by Cream is one of my flawless albums.
|
To slightly change the subject, who voted for who in the latest vocalist thing? I considered Dickinson, but went for Buckley in the end.
|
Has anybody heard of The English Beat? btw, the new Neil Young and Stephen Stills albums both suck. Paul McCartney's new one is brilliant, though.

Alright. It's amazing. If you like blues that is. |
I've heard of The English Beat. I know they play ska (which I love) but I've never actually heard anything by them.
|
I sent out West Side Soul.
Get it. Sent it to you morrison. :) |
Alright. It's amazing.

I was rather dissapointed by the last poll, lots of great singers missing. I'm torn between Dickinson and Mercury. Both have amazing power and range, and are/where increadable on the stage. Ah, who to choose? |
I voted Buckley.
 |
who's songs you like more?
Bruce's, but I think I should vote based solely on the singer, not his band. If it was by band, I'd definitly say Maiden. |

Comin' right up.

Something Else by The Kinks would be great. I really want to hear that Parson's album too. Thanks JonG.
The Kinks are bloody amazing!
Has anybody heard of The English Beat? btw, the new Neil Young and Stephen Stills albums both suck. Paul McCartney's new one is brilliant, though.
Due to your poor argument in the Pink Floyd thread, you have lost all the respect you never had with me and will receive negative rep when ever my damn rep button works. Oh...and please go away. :) |
