No, Varg has like, one horrible album (Daudi Baldrs) and everything else past Filosofem (which is pretty amazing fyi) is decent/mediocre.

And his best songs/albums are way better than Mayhems shit.

I can agree with that somewhat. I don't get why most people don't really like anything after "DMDS". IMO "Chimera" and "Ordo Ad Chao" were both stellar releases. "Wolf's Lair" was alright and "AGDOW" is a fucking embarrassment to the band. I could never really get way into Burzum like some of you and I've been listening to both bands for years. Matter of preference I suppose.

I think this is my favorite Darkthrone album. I listen to it more than any of the earlier albums, and it was before they went all punx rox on us.

My favourite from that period is probably Hate Them.

New Primordial is good but Altar of Plagues new album is AWFUL.

Idk, I like them both.

The new AoP has a really cool production and I like the tracks a lot (especially Feather and Bone), although When the Sun Drowns in the Ocean drags on a bit too much.

The new Primordial is a really solid album, although the first half seems more memorable to me.

Only track that's half decent on Mammal is the first one, the rest are either boring as hell or you get a track like When the Sun Drowns in the Ocean which really has no purpose.

Idk, to each their own, I guess. I like the album.

I'm happy with the new Primordial though, really love "The Mouth of Judas".

"Feather and Bone" is the only good track off that IMO, everything either drags or like Crysis said, is pointless.

There are some shoegaze black metal bands I like, and I admit, it's a catchy formula. It's just that I've kind of grown tired of that stuff. Most of those bands sound almost exactly the same.
