I used to hate maths. I'm slowly learning that all the people I wanted so badly to be wrong are actually right, and maths/logic is actually beautiful.
I was never able to wrap my mind around math or science. You're allowed zero creativity in those.

I am also bored, I think I might go to bed out of pure misery.

Permanent Solution 03-04-2005 07:34 PM

Proven fact: The best way for mods to relieve boredom is to rep users ;) /last rep mention of the night

I'm listening to Rock in Rio, and listening loudly, and this is the first time I have done so, it's so wonderful. Maiden is so awesome, I want to see them again :(

Illmatic 03-04-2005 07:35 PM

Maiden? Awesome?

/raises the "WTF?" Flag

I hate PHYSICS. Its so annoying. The funny part, though, was that when i asked my teacher for a definition of Physics, she couldn't give me one. She had to look it up in the dictionary.

You saw Maiden  I'm pretty sure they're coming to Ozzfest, and last year my step-bro went, I think I'll go to see them if he goes again.

Physics is a system of math used to desribe the world we live in.

Jelle: You were right...meh. I guess you can be bored now lol :)

Ray: You like rap. /discussion

The Rock in Rio video for Run to the Hills is so awesome. I mean, when I saw them live, singing along with 10,000 people to the chorus was amazing, but when you look at Rock in Rio, and there's something like a quarter of a million people singing, it's somewhat beyond it.

I also want to see them again now :(

Not only did I see maiden, but I dragged along a dozen friends, and the show was so good half of them who had never heard of them went out and bought CDs  I also got some of them into metal by doing so that night :)

If they're on Ozzfest I'm going. Period.

Creativity is just one kind of beauty, though.

I want to see them at Ozzfest, if they're playing.

Yeah...it's mind boggling to see a good sized city's worth of people singing along to Maiden tunes. I really like this set list too because BNW was such a good album :) I was talking to a guy in my class, and he asked what was the last great metal concert I saw, I told him Maiden and he scoffed and replied "It's been awhile since they were good." :(

You should have just kicked him. Brave New World was good, and Dance of Death was amazing, and live they still kick seven shades out of many many other bands. I've known quite a few Maiden-ambivalent people (as well as all-out Maiden-haters) to be converted by seeing them live, come to think of it.

BNW > DOD

IC they got rid of Rep.

Kurtz 03-04-2005 07:46 PM

Except for mods.

superpeer 03-04-2005 07:48 PM

Maiden is coming to a festival somewhere in Belgium. I don't feel the need to go and see them live though. :)

Kurtz 03-04-2005 07:49 PM

If I were you, I'd get tickets in a second.

You never know when they might call it a day.

Dream Theater will be there too, I don't know if I can take such an amount of fanboys.

I prefer DoD, I think. BNW was good, but I always got the feeling there was a bit of "Bruce is back so it must be great" kind of feeling towards it.

Still, we agree they're both great, and that Maiden are awesome, so..let's leave it there.
