That's something I thought I'd never hear. Cryptopsy slow.
 I never thought I would even consider it. Then after listening to Dragonforce all day, it didn't seem nearly as fast as it usually does. I'm going to have to listen to something that's actually slow now to make Cryptopsy seem as they usually do.

Hahaha, I just noticed that of the 24 pantera listens I have had on my computer, 17 of them have been Walk...

jpj 10-23-2005 06:56 PM

Is the thread with the Dragonforce album still around?

yeah, it's a couple of pages back, just add someone in there to an IM and ask for it.

Yeah, I realised out of the 2725 songs on my computer, I listen to 50-100 regularly...

I wouldn't mind...I don't even like Pantera:p

Lately I've been stuck on older Opeth, something I never thought would ever happen. I used to fucking hate this album but now I can't stop listening to it.

Same thing happened to me with all black/death in general. Many people here can't even picture me not liking black metal now.

i am the robots 10-23-2005 07:07 PM

Black Metal is secks.

I was actually that way though too, I used to be all about Industrial and Nu-Metal, and say shit like Death Metal is just garbage where people scream and bash on their instruments, then I grew up, and Death Metal is basically all I listen to.

Blackwater Park actually, so I guess you could say middle-of-the-road Opeth.

I still haven't gotten into much black metal other than Emperor and the more symphonic/melodic stuff.

Riva 10-23-2005 07:09 PM

Alrighty, because Jom requested it, I decided to flirt with demodding and do something quirky.

That's inconvenient. I left a whole bunch of dirty dishes in the sink, the bathroom looks like a warzone now that I'm done in there, and I left a big pool of something on the floor over there.

This new title is indeed peculiar. I was looking for something about Sp@m. Now I'll never be able to find the thread. :(

By the way, my mother does live here.

TheDMV 10-23-2005 07:13 PM

the new thread title is not so good.

Yeah, I'd say Old is the first three, Middle is Still Life and Black Water Park, then New is the D&D albums and Ghost Reveries

I actually looked at a Cannibal corpse live DVD, looked at the songtitles and thought "why would anyone want to listen to this, it's just sick"
Now the same DVD gets watched on a weekly basis and I worship at the altar of Corpsegrinder

The last part of that post is sick.

I wouldn't mind having a CC DVD. I'd like to see what they're like; I hear they're an excellent live band.

They be so cool live, Ice actually freezes you solid if you try to watch the live DVD, so remember kids, wrap up warm and turn the heating up full blast.

(shrugs and sharpens the but of the mop into a sharp point then skewers it through the bottom of the bucket to create a jousting lance)

Done. Though I'm not quite sure what good this is going to do outside of the Power Metal thread.
