I heard "Bang A Gong" by T. Rex today when I woke up. Good song.
Electric Warrior is a fantastic album, one of the more underrated classic rock albums.
I posted yesterday in this thread. (very short Coltrane conversation) I can't really type or explain my feelings for what happened on that trip because it didn't actully happen. The fucking dealer ripped me off. I thought I actully found it too. I'm devasted at how amazingly bad this summer has turned out to be. :upset:

So anyway Funkadelic's Maggot Brain is amazing. I just love that "play like your mama just died" solo.

NP: Maggot Brain - Funkadelic
I know this is kind of an overly-optomistic ******* thing to say, but maybe it'll get better :(

Ohh :upset:
Funkadelic's Maggot Brain
I only really care for one song off that album.

No idea what he would be talking about.

np- I Shot the Sheriff. I have to say, I hate the studio version of this song, but this is live version is very good.

I know that a Budgie is a common household bird. Other than that I am clueless

That's a good song. I like the live version better. I love Desire, but I never thought it was anything near Blood on the Tracks like some people think. It's a good album though. Thread's dead tonight.

I agree. I found it on some CD called "Bob Dylan Revisited- The Remasters". It has 15 tracks, one from each of the 15 remastered albums. It's quite a lucky thing to have found.

Never heard of it. Is it like rare or something?
Never heard of it. Is it like rare or something?
Maybe. My Dad used to have a bunch of friends at the local radio station, but since then they have all been fired, but he still has wierd sample albums hanging around. They used to trade albums for car parts and stuff like that

Blood On The Tracks is a great album, especially "Maggie's Farm."
It could have been acid just very low grade stuff (that's what he told me too) but I took 2 hits I think I should've triped. I don't know if it was the "acid" or not but all the colors got really bright while I was out walking around. Could have been.
Ya I took both hits too of that same batch and didn't do nothin. It don't think it would have made the colors brighter becouse you feel a body buzz before you hallucinate. :upset:

On the brighter side I hung out with a weed smugler. :D

Blood on the Tracks is awsome. Highway 61 revisited is really badass too. Dylan is incredible.

My favourite of Blood on the Tracks is probably Meet Me in the Morning.

 just found out Jim morrison may have been raped/molested in his childhood. :upset:

Yikes, where did you hear that?

I've always really liked Tangled Up in Blue.

A biography on him, by Stephen Davis. It's very interesting to say the least.

ATM 07-18-2005 10:23 PM

That's crazy. I think I saw that book at the library today.

RockAndRoll 07-18-2005 10:26 PM

It's really good so far. Apparently Jim Morrison says he was sexually abused by a man (who remains nameless) who is very close to the family and his mom didn't beleive him. There's also a bit about his dad raping him. But the family lawyers deny all this.

PinkFreud 07-18-2005 11:08 PM

i just bought the cream farewell dvd and the best of the faces. theyre both quite good.

Lunch 07-18-2005 11:13 PM

That Cream Dvd is pretty cool. I got a copy free from my some promotional thing at my Brother's work.

manymen 07-18-2005 11:38 PM

the 60's rock we just recorded. Helion Magister:Vaquero. www.helionmagister.com. but there's some strange raplike stuff and a slow song too. all on the same record but by the same people

PinkFreud 07-19-2005 12:18 AM

this dvd is an instant return of faith in my belief that cream was the greatest ensemble ever.

Lunch 07-19-2005 12:27 AM

I wish the quality was a little better, but I really can't ask for anything more than what it is. The music itself is amazing, I love watching those guys play.

yeah, im watching toad right now and its llike the editors were on drugs. random parts in slow motion?

Lunch 07-19-2005 12:33 AM

Yea, and is it also on that Dvd where during the extended solos they cameras zoom in and out repeatedly? If so, that's really annoying.

PinkFreud 07-19-2005 12:36 AM
