Toronto is about 2 hours from here. Probably a bit longer including customs.
Yeah, I suppose that is out of the question. I'm sure there may be some places around you, just don't get a lot of action since you're kind of distant from everything else.
quit complaning

Bombshelter and Nashua American Legion?

I'm finding all these places on google.

Yeah, we've gotten a few decent shows. Terror played here last month, which was awesome. Hardcore shows just don't happen very frequently around here.

Dead Hearts play here a lot, since they're from here. They bring some good bands with them too. The first time I saw them, Marathon played with them, and the second time Crime In Stereo was with them.

Lazybassplr56 12-10-2005 08:36 PM

mmmm Crime In Stereo.

bombshelter's not bad

nashuah american legion is ****, but more good bands play there imo.

The Great Decay 12-10-2005 08:42 PM

I've found a website for the ontario music scene but it isn't very good.

_Tyler 12-10-2005 08:46 PM

You from Toronto?

The Great Decay 12-10-2005 08:47 PM

Close too, but not quite. I could easily go to shows there.

Lazybassplr56 12-10-2005 08:48 PM

This band kicks my a$$ so hard. I live down the street from the singer. He's so cool. Today I skated with him.

check em out.

_Tyler 12-10-2005 08:50 PM

they sound exactly like Career Suicide. At least the first song does.

Lazybassplr56 12-10-2005 08:52 PM

well I support my bros.

pOOPY 12-10-2005 09:04 PM
i was actually asking oopy in particular since his location isn't listed. i know where the location info is. but i guess anywhere is better than tennessee.
Northern California. I live in Davis, I go to shows in Sacramento mostly. Sometimes Orangevale, and on occasion I go to the bay area (San Jose, Berkley, San Francisco). I'm lucky to have a very awesome underground DIY hardcore venue about 15 minutes away from me.

The Great Decay 12-10-2005 09:17 PM

What version of AIM do you all use?

_Tyler 12-10-2005 10:22 PM

I just learned how to do pinch harmonics. I feel like my life is complete.

You still live in the middle of nowhere in bumfuck Canada and you go to a christian school. You rarely get shows, and your penis curves left. If you think about it, your life is still pretty gay.

The Great Decay 12-10-2005 10:25 PM

I learned how to do pinch harmonics in two minutes.

that's all it took me too. I tried to to it before from online lessons but I couldn't make sense of them.

The Great Decay 12-10-2005 10:29 PM

I used to jam with a friend who was heavily into metal, he showed me.

Let's Chop Cats! 12-10-2005 10:54 PM

Pinch Harmonics rule. I can't wait to get a set of EMGz and really make them squeal.

On a different note, I just downloaded the Doom movie and plan on making a bootleg.

kingdead 12-10-2005 10:59 PM

Pinch Harmonics are the sound of an unimaginative guitarist trying to find a cash-all get out to a million generic sub-slayer leads.

Let's Chop Cats! 12-10-2005 11:07 PM

It's my birthday bitches, send me presents.

Lazybassplr56 12-10-2005 11:13 PM

the next person who says "ill blood" in a thread should be destroyed.

postcount++ is lame and annoying

Let's Chop Cats! 12-10-2005 11:17 PM

I'm pretty sure Scott posted those himself a long time ago.

_Tyler 12-10-2005 11:21 PM

TakeWarning 12-11-2005 01:19 AM

I found Scott in the first two, but in the last one I didn't know where he was hiding.

BuddyBigsby 12-11-2005 01:33 AM

hahaha, wow.

I like how in the last one I look like Wile E. Coyote trying to run but getting no traction.
