What's peoples opinions of the 16" Zildjian A China-High?
Thinking of buying one and having it paired with my 12" Wuhan.

I think that would sound very trashy and loud and quite cool.

i like it. it's a very clean sounding china. i prefer them that way.

Nah, I mean in the same setup but near each other. Do you know the song [I]Take This Life[/I] by In Flames? He has a grove in the bridge where he rides two of them.. I want that type of sound.

alright, so here's the deal. i'm looking for a new ride. my current ride is the paragon ride. it has a hell of lot of stick definition, a nice ping, powerful, bright bell, but only moderate overtones.

i'm looking for a secondary ride, around 20-22 inches for rock applications. it needs to have nice overtones, and a powerful, deep bell. crash-ability is not necessary. brand and price are not an issue.

so far, i've been listening to 21" meinl byzance dark ride. i need more options.

I'd look at the HHX Groove Ride myself.

i would like a ride with a moderate amount of wash, but not to the point where it overtakes the ping sound, if that makes any since.

basically i want some controllable wash.

yeah dude for $60 you might wanna just hold off. save up a bit more money. its worth the wait and you end up saving more anyway because you will end up kicking yourself in the *** when you decide you wanna upgrade again.

I had a transformer, should have kept it but it didnt really serve a purpose at the time. Im looking forward to the A Custom EFX, thank god I didnt buy the ZHT version yet.

I was going to get all these Remix cymbals off ebay ofr 200 for 4.
But I missed it.
It wouldn't have been wrth it either.
I have cymbals and ****, just would have been a want rather than a need.

The A Custom will be brighter which I think is what I want. I guess just think of the normal characteristics of those two lines and then apply them to the EFX cymbals. At least thats the way I think of it.
