Also, why do girls taunt poor desperate men like me with their looks and then ditch us? I"m getting sick of falling for people and then getting shot down time after time. It happens all the time. Most of my friends are controlled by their girlfriends, but their girlfriends don't care about them at all. My friend went to kiss his girlfriend, she promptly turned her head and left. My other friend tailed his ex, who was leading him on again...... arghh.... maybe I"m just mad because noone will go out with me....... Probably.....

Work sucked today.

First, I stayed out too late with my BF.. it's not actually that I stayed out too late, is that when I got home, I had to work on some midi tracks for a guy today... and then... my sleeping medicine decided to not fricken work.. so I layed in bed.. and *then*

So I was tired at work.. and irritated.. =bad teaching vibes... and then I got this moron kid... New student.. took a month of lessons and then stopped... I looked at his lesson book and his previous teacher was trying to teach him the E phrygian scale.. (the kid is 10) .. but the kid doesn't know much else. I asked him what chords he knew... "Oh.. pretty much all of them..." :evil: really?

Story time, so I went to mca yesterday It was a really great experience usually when I go I get really stuck up workers it really makes me mad, it's like I have to prove myself. So yesterday I went and had a great sales man help me alot, we actually jammed it was great. I actually might consider lessons, but I'd only get them If I got him. Does anyone know if you can request a teacher?

I bet you could. Just let them know how you feel, and that the only way they will get your business is if he is your teacher.

I tried two other programs today. One of them said it couldn't initialize the sound card, which sort of confused me, as I've messed (mind you, barely) with MIDIs before and had no problem. The other turned out to be for Keyboard only, though it had said it was an all purpose MIDI recorder. :confused: MIDI is obviously not my forte. :p

Whats awesome is that now that im in high school, for my 2 freshman electives I take Radio 1 and MIDI. The Downers Grove (Chicago) area picks it up. It's 88.3 and if I do good I'll get a time slot. Too bad noone likes a lot of the music I like in Radio so I may not get a partner. I also chose MIDI so I can compose my own songs. They teach how. My high school is very large/wealthy so these classes are very rare. They are 2 amazing electives.

Question regarding straplocks:

My Conklin does [b]not[/b] have straplocks. I'd like to add them. Now, the strap pin on the side of the upper horn (it's not on the tip) is loose; seems like the hole has been slightly damaged. The pin slides a liiiittle bit. Now, to remedy this:

Should I wait till I put in the strap lock, and then put a ton a glue or something?

Any suggestions?

This is just horrible. it's like Russia's 911. The did some stuff similar to the Nazis. They let some parents leave with only one child, forcing them to leave their others behind.
