Whats the general consensus on Brice basses from Rondo? Im thinking of picking up one of the 6's for recordings and whatnot.

It's really a love/hate relationship around here.

Some love their Brice 6'ers. Others hate them.

Mixed reviews. Some people say you get terrible basses, other say they're great, and still others say you get what you pay for.

If you're not going to be using it for a main instrument, go for it.

If you're good at setting your own gear up and don't mind rewiring the whole thing you'll be fine. Fret leveling maybe, depends.

If you really want to do serious recording I'd probably swap out the electronics too, depending on if it's really hissy.

Im a guitar guy primarily. But hmm. I want something that's less hit or miss. Maybe one of the Carvin Bolt 5ers would be good?
