Hey. I was wondering if the rock in rio set is a good example of Maiden. I have it and love it but have not heard any albums besides DOD.

Rock In Rio is pretty good, I have the DVD. As for a good example of Maiden, get something way older like The Number Of The Beast, Peice Of Mind, or Powerslave. I'd recommend Powerslave out of the three, cause it'll appeal to you if you like DOD most likely.

Magnum357 12-05-2004 06:53 PM

I have the Rock in Rio DVD and I really dont like it at all.. Bruce's voice is terrible. It sounds worn out and tired.

Other than that, good performance from the rest of the band.. and great stage effects

Sign of the cross
Blood brothers
Iron Maiden
The ghost of the navigator
Hell, all the gig is amazing
