Yeah, I resorted to reading as well.

Anyway, so I'm starting a band with a friend of mine. We're probably not gonna find a drummer and bass player, but that is for later concern.
We've been playing guitar together a couple of times for the past few days and have put together about half a song now. Okay, maybe that's not really fast or something, but the songwriting just feels like it's going very smoothly.
And we're both a bit rusty since neither of us have been actively playing guitar for at least half a year, but it's cool to see how fast we're picking it up again.

We don't really know yet, haha. I guess we'll figure that out along the way.

Freek is the lead guitarist and he brings with him some Malmsteen-ish influences while I liek teh Iced Earth RIFFS.
I guess so far, it sounds a bit like Iced Earth meets Ensiferum, but I doubt that that makes any sense.

I've only heard one Iced Earth song, Dracula

but it completely rocked my world for a while in like 8th grade

It's one of those bands I always come back to after not having listened to them for half a year. Probably one of my all time favorite bands.
