yea no prob it has really grown on me this summer. i got it spring semester because it was in the high rotation bin at WUVT and whenever i'd pick a random song on it i would like it a lot, so one time i was at the record shop and saw it and decided i'd roll the dice. i'm glad i did, and have lent it out to a few friends who have asked to burn it, and have found it to be a pretty good cd to play in social situations when youre drinkin with people and stuff. great cd in general, real fun to rock out and sing along too in the car and stuff as well. i checked their label's site (Kill Rock Stars, unwound anyone?) and found theyre playing in DC on Aug 18th in this really small venue (friend of mine has played there) so i postponed moving into my apt in blacksburg so that i can see their show as my last night in Vienna and move out the next mornin. pretty excited about that, im very familiar with all the songs at this point so itll be lots of fun and lookin forward to gettin a tee
I need to listen to him.
you'd like him dom, pretty much 2000s version of 60s fahey + sometimes dronier psuedo-raga stuff |
I need to hear him. He is playing one of the venues around here soon.

June of 44 - Anahata
Cardiac Atlas still blows my mind. even though there are probably a million songs just like it and its not a normal June of 44 song, i still love it! i can also see how someone at pitchfork (or some other review site) said that Minus the Bear was influenced by this band. but the comparison only makes sense for like a couple songs, and only this album. |
George Harrison - "The Radha Krsna Temple Album"
Ignoring the religious component of this, it still manages to stand on its own; it's a good album. |
what's wrong with da religious component
|
okay cannot hold they smoke, dats wat it is.
