i just got ummm

I Don't Care Where I Go When I Die

I think it's called?

Anyways seemed pretty cool upon initial quick scan, but also seemed like something that might get boring towards the middle of the album so idk

The Feeding 11-20-2009 11:06 AM

naw the middle has Slutmaker, prolly one of their best songs

track 6 my friend

NortherlyNanook 11-20-2009 11:28 AM
Gaza's first album was really bland, I never cared to check out the new one.

It's pretty much the same boring ****.
what you're both not allowed to agree

gaza rules too

HighandDriving 11-20-2009 12:15 PM

We have similar music taste, it's just that Mappy likes way more garbage bands than I do.

But it's mainly limited to Deathcore and Metalcore.

Apoc 11-20-2009 12:52 PM

mappy's an encyclopedia of mediocrish deathcore

new gaza is definitely dank.

The Feeding 11-20-2009 12:53 PM

band has always been that way

check out their East EP as well

Apoc 11-20-2009 01:39 PM

first track off the East EP and I'm reminded of both Jane Doe-era Converge and Remission-era Mastodon

....nice

jrowa001 11-20-2009 01:48 PM

ive liked the new Gaza.

August Burns Red were flawless live tonight. Shame the headline band but a damper on things, fortunately I didn't stick around that long.

nevertoolate 11-20-2009 04:47 PM

they are v v good live, they were tight as when I saw em recently

mappyxmassacre 11-20-2009 05:39 PM
mappy's an encyclopedia of mediocrish deathcore
I don't really listen to much deathcore idk.

And my encyclopedic knowledge of skramz more than makes up for dass.

lol at H&D asserting his elitery

2muchket! 11-20-2009 06:36 PM

dude thinks flying lotus is dubtep

HighandDriving 11-20-2009 06:44 PM

Lol you still didn't give any reason as to why Flying Lotus aren't in the dubstep realm, you actually didn't go back to the thread.

5 years of Hyperdub comp tracklisting.

Disc: 1
1. Meltdown - King Midas Sound
2. Time Patrol
3. Aidys Girl's a Computer
4. Roller Skates - Samiyam
5. Disco Balls - Flying Lotus
6. Purple Smoke
7. Fostercare
8. Weekend Fly
9. Tarantula - Zomby
10. Mega Drive Generation
See all 16 tracks on this disc
Disc: 2
1. 9 Samurai - Kode9
2. South London Boroughs
3. Bad
4. Money Honey [Remix]
5. Globetrotting - L.V.,
6. Distant Lights
7. Ghost Town
8. Fukkaz
9. Return - Samiyam
10. Need You

It's not clear cut Dubstep but it can fall under it, pretty sure whoever put together this (amazing) comp knows more about Dubstep than yourself.

2muchket! 11-20-2009 06:51 PM

There was no need to post the tracklisting I have that compiliation.

And that one song has some dubstep qualities too but it's still hip-hop.

You know he's done other stuff besides Los Angeles.

Must I keep going? Yes he falls under the hip hop genre but there is enough of a dubstep influence that you could call him a dubstep artist.

botb 11-20-2009 07:06 PM

must he keep going?

2muchket! 11-20-2009 07:42 PM

That one song was dubstep. Fair enough.

RetiredAt21 11-20-2009 09:38 PM

Uh pretty sure this is still the metalcore thread.

Bloodlet and Disembodied, noobs.
