Yeah, I knew people would laugh, but I said it anyway...I miss that fucker, man...
|
If he were to rise from the grave, he would kill your ass for saying this shit, lol.
|
yeah dead was pretty beautiful he only cut himself and played with feces in his live shows but other than that yeah great guy
|
Yeah, that girl in the only video of him, you know the one hovering around him at the beginning, she looked real scared of him. I'll bet Irene Andresen was just terrified when she took that picture of him at the bar. He needed more women around him, actually, not less. He could have had a lot of women if he wasn't so depressed.
I have a fucked up neighbor who kept me awake, banging on my wall nightly, and calling the cops on me when I was asleep, for several years, and for everyone else's noise. (Much like Euronymous purportedly firing shots in the night while Dead was trying to sleep in the woods cuz was too loud in the house.) I'd say I was suicidal during that time. I almost walked in front of cars, because I was hardly aware of this dimension. Sleep deprivation and starvation are two key tools in any cult (as well as witches like my neighbor). You know there was nothing wrong with Dead that a trip to Southern Cali and a surfboard wouldn't have cured. Gotta say it, I am not the only female writing things like this about him, today, and still pining over him all these years later. I've seen quite a few comments like mine around, today. He was a genius, a great showman. I just don't buy it that he was any more violent than any other man. |
I think he was a guy who screamed, did weird shit, and killed himself.
The end. |
yeah honestly
post a pic of yourself i need to put all these weird statements to a face
I have posted pics of myself, here before as avatars, but I keep changing them. Here's a picture from about six years ago. I hope you will understand, I am just an old Post-Punk/Industrial era broad who loves Metal a lot. When I'm looking at older Black Metal it is all very nostalgic for me. (Yeah, am getting quite ancient, but am still lucky that I look pretty damn young.) I was in a really experimental performance art group, here in SF, and played in Punk bands way back when. (Kristine Ambrosia was the performance artist I worked with.) I got to work with and open for a lot of really happenin' people for those days. We did a lot of really experimental installations and music that ventured in the realms of metaphysics, and mostly Industrial music. So, was really waiting for these guys, the early ones, you know? A few years later, I remember asking a friend of mine in the performance group, 'How come no one bit?' I said, "There's all this metaphysical music in New Age and Avant-garde, but how come nobody seems to be doing it with harder music that I like, like Punk of Metal?" He said, "Well, there are a couple of guys, but not many." "Well, where are they?" I asked. He said, "Norway." I'm like, "Oh, shit, why so far away?" He said, "Well, think about it." I said, "Can we contact them?" He said, "No." (Hee) Anyway, first introduction to Dead was picking up a copy of Dawn of the Black Hearts in a record store. I never should have put it down. I should have bought it, but I remember the series of thoughts I had of looking at it. First thought, 'Excellent fake'. Then, a closer look at the pic, 'Oh, so not a fake.' I knew, right away. Then, looking closer at the boy, I remember I thought, 'Oh, man, that probably would have been the one you would have wanted, huh?' You see when I put the album back down in the stack was when I tried to let it go. I saw the other pics of him in magazine articles about Varg and so forth. There's something haunting about him, but in a good way. I just haven't been able to let go of the energy of what I think he could have been, or something like that. That's why I say I miss him. It's figurative, not literal, and anyway, it's been twenty years now, so I've decided to go ahead and just feel whatever I want. It's usually the girls going off at these shows about the guys, and the other guys in the audience just headbanging. It's just hormonal for us, haha...Cheers, guys...you all awesome... |
I'd say Dead was more violent than most men because most men are too pussy to blow their head open with a shotgun.
|
he's no kurt cobain

stop acting like you base your life off of mayhem, good musicians die thats how it works the fact that you care so much is absolutely ridiculous. |

It's so ridiculous that that track is so much better than 70% of all the crappy black metal that is released all the time with the most serious intentions.

Well, it's just because yesterday was kind of a milestone, anniversary of death and so forth. I actually base my life pretty much on every other interesting guy I ever see, to be truthful. There are a lot of talented men around. Lots of eye candy for me, but I don't really take it all that seriously, dwell on individuals for very long. It's just walking art, or something. Sometimes, though, certain guys will seem sort of extra mysterious, or profound. Such was the case with Mr. Ohlin. That's all, really. Tomorrow I'll be trippin' about something else. I try not to go on about too much, here, because I know it's not really you guy's scene. Every once in a while I just gotta say something, though, and check in and say hi. I really respect what you guys say about things, a lot, actually. I learn a lot from the posts on this page. |
heiling luciation, these dutchmen know what evil sounds like
